Screen freeze/stucked while taking picture in night mode

    When I take pictures in night mode screen getting stucked / freeze. That time default options (back/home) are also not working.

    kindly update on the same.

    quite strange.
    try clearing the camera app storage and setting up again.
    lets see if it solves the problem or not.

    what camera version do you have? what os version you are on?
    provide some details.

    also try *#08# and enter engineer mode.
    see if the camera tests pass there.
    do not fiddle with anything else until you know what you are doing.

    also there is an app called oneplus care it allows you to diagnose your device through it. try it out.

    and tell us what happened.

    Clear the cache and data of the camera app and then restart your phone. All in the same order and one after the other.

    OS : Oxygen OS 9.5.6 GM57AA
    CAMERA VERSION : 2.1.19

    I have tried to dial suggested no.(*#08#) but nothing happens, kindly provide the correct details to diagnose the same.

    clearing data also clears the cache so no means to do in two different steps.

    my mistake there in typing.

    you seem to have old camera version
    currently i have 3.2.106

    try finding the apk on apkmirror.
    and install the 3.2.106 version and see if the problem persists.

    i see. sometimes it do behaves different. bit i think the problem is in his camera app version.

    in 9.5.6 the app has been updated to 3.2.106 but he still have the old version. updating should solve the problem.
