Screen keeps freezing on Oneplus8 via OnePlus 8 T-Mobile

Has anyone else had a problem with their Oneplus8's screen freezing on multiple apps? I'll be on the internet scrolling around and then all of a sudden the screen will freeze. I then have to close the app and reopen it for it to work. It also does this on Instagram and YouTube. Any help would be appreciated.

Happens with me on Chrome. I have both Oneplus 6T and 8. Google Chrome just freezes. I have noticed it more when the translator loads in the bottom . But it also freezes during chrome otherwise aswell.

I have this quite often especially when I'm writing on a forum. I need to press the power button to put it into standby then come out and continue.

I have OnePlus 7t and I literally hate it these days. Something is wrong with it. All apps freeze, Facebook, Instagram, browsers. I even deleted Chrome as it was so glitchy and installed Firefox but it didn't help. The phone even freezes on a main screen... Reboot doesn't help either. Please, tell me what to do!?

factory reset, download the zip file from OnePlus site for latest os available, and flash it through adb sideload. my 4 year old OnePlus 3 doesn't lag as much as compared to your description.

With my device it's pure when I use a browser, reading or indeed filling in on a forum it get frozen for a few seconds.
With everything else it works fine.
Oneplus wants me to send back for repair but when I look at the forum I can see many people have the save problem with the op 8 phone both versions.

Personally I think it's a software update but since they ask me to send back I'm not sure anymore [e]1f601[/e]

Dus one of you asked the help desk too?

same here and mainly happens with Google Chrome. When using Microsoft Edge (based on Chromium) this seems not to been happening.

Closing the screen and reopen will help.

On my previous OP6 I never had this issue.

Can we please keep upvoting this thread till OnePlus takes action. It's with anything that has media embedded! Chrome, YouTube, etc. It's so damn annoying! I had a OP6 before upgrading to OP8pro...never happened on the 6.

This is just a terrible experience on such a quality phone.
