Make sure that Enable Wireless display is enabled in the cast app, 3 dot menu.

Also ensure both are connected to the same network.

Also clear the Mobile Broadcasts App info Cache and App info Storage as well.

You may need to reset the Cast option on the TV as well, you will have to check the TV manual on how to do this.

I can cast to a similar Sony tv on a regular basis using an OP6 on 10.3.5 OOS (and previous versions). But you may have an issue with wifi. Try using an app like WiFi Analyzer to check wifi signal strength near the tv and also make certain there is not wifi interference from a neighbor using the same wifi channel.

Others don't have an issue, as you have the same hardware its probably not a Bug.

Sounds more like a TV issue, and that's a different manufacturer, so maybe the bug is in their software, OnePlus have no control over other manufacturers TVs.

Check for a TV software update as well.

Also Try the steps above to see if it can rectify your issue.

Still check for TV software update, if there is one available install it. Sometimes it can improve compatibility with various other devices.

And this is being helpful, try it and see. Also try the steps mention in my other post further up, that might even fix the issue. But you won't know till you try all of what's been suggested.

Did you turn on 2 way channel network acceleration? Try turning off that setting. Note that this setting would not apply here as you are posting in the wrong forum.
