Hi, I just got my phone yesterday and love it but realized that there isn't much at all with the pre-installed screen protector. but since OnePlus doesn't offer a screen protector for sale I don't see many good options. anyone know good tempered glass ones that won't break the bank?

I'd like to know myself. the T-Mobile store had one they claim is the best but is $50. I'd like to spend less after buying the OtterBox symmetry case.

I've looked at Mocolo tempered glass and ordered it from a famous Chinese website for under $10 delivered. Still waiting on it so can't comment yet but reviews on Google look great. The other choice being Whitestone Dome but That's like $40 even after discount.

Whitestone dome is what the T-Mobile store had for sale. I decided I was going to use the pre install one until it starts looking a bit bad then change to glass.

well I've seen positive reviews for ones that use UV cured glue application to get the protector on properly but I've also seen people mess up their phones with it.

I was going to also but I'm a bit worri d about what protection the pre-installed one offers, because it seems like there's nothing on here. plus I still have the flimsy stock case

yeah I ditched the stock case. I mean it was nice of them to include one. let's be honest it's only good enough to provide protection until you get a better case. the screen cover is really good for protection from scratching not impact like glass can.

I know it's not tempered glass but I went with the RhinoShield impact protectors, front and back. Back gives a descent grip while front has a buttery smooth feel to it.

Paired them with their crash bumper.

I did the Rhinoshield option with the front and rear with the Impact Flex and a SolidSuit as a back. It came to $70 CDN.

Got mine for $42 USD shipped with a coupon. Loving the combo so far and like the slider on the right is built into the guard.

My wife says this is not cute at all. So many Carbon versions out there though. I just wanted something unique even though the Carbon Fibre is unique itself at where I am.

The tempered glass arrived but I haven't pasted it yet as I find this whole process of applying liquid glue and it possibly leaking everywhere a bit daunting. So still waiting for the stock protector to kind of totally disintegrate before I gear up and apply this one. Sorry mate couldn't help you much for now. I'd say if you really want one get it from China. They have their official site listed that sells it for less than US$10 delivered worldwide.

no worries, I've seen varying reviews of uv based glue, some saying it's very effective while others saying it can get in the speaker grill. while I've found a few sites for them, their official site is only offering an option to request a quote. would you mind linking the official site that lists it at ten dollars internationally? thanks

Unfortunately the forum hides their name whenever I quote.

But it's the biggest online retailer owned by Jack Ma in PRC... makes sense [e]1f601[/e]
