    M1580712406644 , May 13, 2021 :
After updating to the Android 11. when I plug in for battery charge and right after plug off and I wanna play a game or watch some pictures, unfortunately the auto rotation doesn't work anymore. It stays in vertical position even for games who could be played normally only horizontal. Then I have to restart my phone in order to fix this or wait few minutes and it fixes by itself. It's really annoying and I hope someone can help or soon a hot fix will be released,
it is really irritating for a long while the screen not rotate.

Can you report that via the bug report feature in the OnePlus Community app. Tap the Red + Icon and select Feedback, then choose bug report). The bughunters can gather logs and info and pass for investigation.
    Or like said below
    Hope this helps

Have you tried to Wipe Cache Partition?
Cache Partition stores temporary data for speeding up your android system. But some times you may need to clear this partition without erasing all other data.

    Please try below simple fix.

    1) Go to settings
    2) Search Reset app preferences > ok.

This works because some of the apps may be causing interference in full-screen permissions.
Once you will do this, auto rotate will work like a charm again.

This is because of some 3rd party apps like clean master or battery saver apps which needs "Display over other apps" permission.

Please do not enable this permission otherwise auto rotate will have issues again.

Auto rotate will work fine till you give permissions to such apps.

I hope it will work for you like it did for me.
