SD card problem in ONE X Nov 3, 2015

Hi everyone,
This topic was a really early one, the problem was first not well understood, here's the first original post if you want:

we are a few early buyers from france experiencing some issues with the microSD port of the one plus X

TL,DR; the micro SD are not shown in the "storage" settings.
The SD cards are sometimes not even shown in the file explorer (like in this case), sometimes we can just access to the files in the explorer (my case), but anyway, we cant use it to store our apps, our pictures, videos...
well that's a big issue, even if someone who did not install the latest firmware upgrade told us that there is no problem with his SD card. So maybe it's just a little firmware problem?
Well for the moment it's still a little disapointment

(like i said in the other thread, i used an sdxc, an sdhc, all in multiple type of format, fat32, exFat...)

So, after more than a week, we can sum up things:

- the problem seems to be software, in the first version of oxygen os, it seems that people can use well their SD card. After the upgrade, in oxygen os 2.1.2 - build ONE E1003_14_151024 , problems appears
- for big capacity SD cards, check the formatting system. ExFat is not accepted for the moment (it seems) so fat32 or NTFS for everyone
- the cards are not recognized in the storage menu of the settings, but the cards are shown in file explorer apps and media players
- major issues besides the format is that you cant place your app in the SD (but maybe you just cant since google doesn't allow this... things to clarify), you cant use your sd to store photos and videos taken from your camera. And spotify wont let you save your offline music on the SD. Yeah big big issue.
- we know that the problem has been reported to the dev team, we hope to have a new OTA soon, (one or two weeks from here, nov. 11)
