    starks , Jan 18, 2020 :
If you follow this support document from T-Mobile, you can no longer receive OTAs.
    https://www.t-mobile.com/support/devices/android/oneplus-7t-pro-5g/device-resets-oneplus-7t-pro-5g
The master reset procedure wipes a critical file and symlink that the OTA payload checks for:
    /data/reserve/reserve.img
    /dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/reserve_a
    /dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/reserve_b
This cannot be restored because there is no stock rom or rescue procedure (i.e. MSMDownloadTool) for this device.

While there are less of these phones in the market due to the T-Mobile exclusivity and it's launch so close to the OnePlus 8 series, I'd seriously recommend that this be addressed to ensure customers are not adversely impacted.
