Selecting images in Whatsapp on OnePlus 7t Nov 13, 2019

    There is an issue which i face in my one plus 7t which i bought last month.
    I am experiencing issues with selecting images through whatsapp as it shows blurry images and not able to select which one to send to the other person.
    while opening gallery as an attachment in whatsapp ,what i see is :

    The one that we see actually in gallery:

    This actually forces to select images from gallery and then sharing it to whatsapp and not vice versa.

    Assuming that whatsapp isn't able to read some images taken by this camera and thus showing it blurry.
    does anyone else face the same issue

    I do face the same issue. Strangely enough not all the pictures are blurry in my case a few are clear... there's also an issue with WhatsApp collecting folder metadata on USB drives and not cleaning them so you will always see these empty folders in attachments despite the drive having been properly unmounted and disconnected.
    add to this that WhatsApp still doesn't support dark theme and has a pretty poor handling of the new Gestures... but that is all within the WhatsApp remit not OnePlus.

    are you running a 7T ? what's your oxygen os version? what's your version of WhatsApp?

    This smells like a WhatsApp support kinda thing. Have you faced this problems with other phones?
    I suggest you to write an email to WhatsApp support

    ok so exactly the same version that I have got. I can reproduce the issue 100% of the time.
    open camera - take a picture.
    go in WhatsApp, in one conversation click to add attachment, the pictures' thumbnail of this picture I just took is blurry.

    i used to use one plus 3 from the past 3 years...never faced any issue like this...maybe as people recommend would have to write to whatsapp support
