Selfie Portrait does not launch

    After the recent update, Selfie Portrait does not launch and camera app gets stuck. have to force stop and launch it again
    any fix for this?..

    Did you install the camera app via external APK? If so, you need to restore it back to original version and it will work.

    it's the phone's camera app.. no apk installation. how to restore the Camera app?.. i have disabled and enables it, still the same.

    That is the camera app for an OP7 phone that you "side loaded" into an OP6/6t phone.
    Problems can occur when you manually install a system apk for a different phone.
    Disable the camera, tap 3 dots, then remove updates.

    no sideloading done.. all apps installed from Play store.
    only a phone update occurred this month with 2019.5 security patches and a few other bug fixes.
    anyways I followed your steps to uninstall updates, now it's working.. why would a OP7 camera update install on OP6?..

    To be clear, that was not an official camera update, but rather a side loaded apk for an OP7.

    without installing how the camera version changed from 3.0.16 to 3.2.91? you have installed external apk. uninstall it. it will work fine
