Can't we set different password than that of devices login password for hidden space and applocker ..if I share my device login password then those people can easily enter my personal things

When i enable hidden space password, i'm not allowed to set a new password. It only asks me to confirm my password, as If i had already tried to set a password.
And this is a very first time when i try to use it...

Is there way to reset it, or what should i do?

EDIT: Never mind, i just did put my device password and it worked. Solved.

the previous swipe gesture was fine. most of the people around me don't even know that there is a hidden space. now it's easier to find that thing with the new launcher update.

there is no good reason for the presence of password, if we are using the normal password for unlocking the phone.

it would have been better if there was an option to only use finger print authentication or use a different password.

How old are you? Is it your phone or a family phone? If you really need to share it, then just create another user on the phone so you can both only access your own stuff. Or use guest mode.

You can share pictures and videos by unlocking the phone for them and handing it to them, that way you don't need to give your password to people.

I work in cybersecurity. Nobody, and I mean nobody, should have the password to your device, except you.

And of course you can request features, but this isn't the place to do it. Feature requests are made here: https://forums.oneplus.com/feedback
