Hey OnePlus Users, my OnePlus X battery life is terrible. I charged my phone to 100% then I unplugged it. I then checked my Snapchat then my battery dropped to 96% what the helll. Whats happening man. Do any of you have a battery draining problem? How can I fix this issue? I'm planning to keep the OnePlus X till 2019. How can I resolve this issue. My OnePlus X only lasts half a day. I tried reseting the phone, installing GREENIFY and it still don't work. I want to find the OnePlus CEO's and rob their iPhone 7's.

Please help me I don't want my opx to die.

My OnePlus X battery life is okay at the moment, It last about 10 hours, and it has a year. Revise the apps that consume more battery, like Facebook and Snapchat and disable the automatic conexion and for Facebook, install the Facebook live app in order to reduce the battery consumption is great, another thing to do is to use a black wallpaper for the block screen and the main screen, because of the AMOLED display. That is what I have done, and it works.

If this post has helped you, please press the like button, thanks o_O

I attach the black wallpaper for anyone to use it.

keep your screen as dark as possible, dont use snapchat/facebook, those apps drain a lot of batterylife unless you want that. also close all of your apps when you finished using them also improves the SOT

Battery not the best in the X. I get maybe 3.5 hours max with dark mode on, gps off and screen brightness way down. Some people get lucky it seems. But I am in a big city, so no hunting for signal or anything like that. Auto WIFI off. I just accept it now and have a cable at work...sigh. I upgraded due to poor battery from my old Moto. That phone is now smashed to bits and a heap of junk...but the battery drain is no different to the oneplus X - and it has a smaller battery to boot...

    Stock ROM?

Snapchat and FB are, as stated above, both battery killers. I'd remove Snapchat and test for a few days. Seems like your drain rate is pretty high when the phone should be idle/snoozing.

Other option could be to install another supported kernel, say Boeffla, and see if that helps. That goes a little beyond stock though.

Maybe you should try to install a custom rom. Those are most of the time actually a lot better.

Dont use the freaking stock rom. Duh.
And you need root to make greenify run properly.
Seriously you can't expect to use this phone till 2019, when Oneplus won't even support it in 2017.
So just go and flash a custom rom if you wanna keep using it and have a decent experience for the next 2 yrs.

Resurrection remix, im using it myself on my op2. I get like 4 hrs of sot on a single charge previously i barely hit the 3 hr mark.
Other than that the rom is stable and there are ton of customization options.
It's available for opx as well.
You can try it out, make sure u back up your stock rom just in case something goes wrong or you don't like the new rom.
    Happy flashing!
