Seriously Oneplus?

I just got my one plus 6 and I am hugely disappointed with the phone.
I was so excited about one plus all along. I loved the one plus one. Followed it closely since the beginning and finally purchased my first oneplus phone a few days ago after watching a ton of videos on YouTube about how incredible the OnePlus 6 is. what a joke.
I wonder how much money was paid to those youtubers to advertise op6.
first of all the phone came with glue sticking out of screen, as well as sim card slot slightly bending in to the phone.
dash charge, good. but the battery drains almost as fast as it charges.
video recording? it's the worst I have ever seen.

I spend almost $700, on a 8 GB model, but I ll return the phone and stick to my three years old iPhone 6. sure, it is slow but a thousand times more reliable than op6.
as I write these lines I lost %3 battery.
    Such a waste of time.

It's their fastest selling device ever. I don't have it myself(yet) but my friends that upgraded have non of the issues you just described.

either the compression applied to this video by youtube is terrible, or your phone has some serious issues with stabilisation. My OP6 isn't nearly as bad as this one...

might want to try availing the warranty at the OnePlus service centre. maybe they would change your phone or atleast fix it. Because what you described seem like manufacturing defects.

I have updated as soon as i recieved the product. I also had the phone heating up. All i did today was to play one round of pubg and some whatsapp calls with the phone.

i really dont want to waste more time. For $700 i am sure i can get some smartphone more reliable than this.

ops. i just did a factory reset. put back the phone in its box; waiting for return label.
the issue is non existence of video stabilization in 4k. let me see if it is backuped to google photos in full resolution.

can you also check if your phone version is OnePlus 6 A6000 or OnePlus 6 A6003? (This is only for my own research, seen this camera issue in threads before on A6003 phones that are made in India)

well the issue you seem to be having is a rare one. Not every product made by a company is perfect. there seems to be one among a thousand which will have problems. i had a lumia 950 prior to the 5T and it had overheating problems and performance issues. but that does not mean every lumia 950 had it. same thing with your OnePlus 6. there's always a bad apple somewhere. you just had bad luck. still the OnePlus 6 is a great device and every review or video i have seen points the same way. i know there are paid views, but i doubt every good review is a paid one.
I will still recommend you to visit a service centre since you paid so much money.

Good luck with you going back to your iPhone 6 as that is total rubbish compared to a OnePlus 6. Maybe your OnePlus 6 is defective.

    It is A6003.
probably it is... but i heard about this glue issue first in this video by Linus tech. As the video is sponsored by the OP, i m sure they know of the issue.
I bought the phone directly from Oneplus website, thinking it would reduce my chances of getting a bad apple. But it does not. This is not what should happen when you go and spend $700 on a phone. If the phone costed $300 thats another story.

well if OnePlus knows about the issue, that would increase your chances of getting the phone replaced or repaired easier.
