    Marco Giesing , via OnePlus 7T , Oct 16, 2021 :
After recently updating to OOS 11.0.3.1.HD65BA I have encountered random service drops several times per hour. My service will just go to no service for anywhere between 10 seconds to 1 minute or so.

I did not change any settings, especially not regarding the simcard/network operations or anything.

Also cleaned the simcard slot with compressed air but that did not do the trick. Obviously also made sure the simcard itself was clean.

Tested the simcard on a different device aswell for about 3 hours. On that device the simcard worked correctly and I did not experience any service drops.

While typing this thread the service already dropped once, again. Hope anyone got a fix!

When the issue arises, have you tried just switching airplane mode on/off

Yes I have. Just tried it again now. It did work this time but I have had times where that also did not work. It is a bit 50/50 from what I have noticed. Thanks for the suggestion though 😃

So give a factored reset a try to rule out a software issue

Having the same issue's after the update.
wonder if topic starter issues were fixed after a factory reset.

    Any resolution for anyone yet???

I updated to OOS 11.0.3.1 and no problems.

Updated to OOS 11.0.4.1 and now i have the exact same symptoms it seems....... I'vd had this device (7T) since it was released and used every OOS update issued and never had this problem or any other problems along the way over the years (other than the L3 widevine)

Hello! Since I wasn't able to do a factory reset back then I had to wait with it for a bit but after doing it today the issue was still there sadly. Any other idea's?

Okay so I found a weird "fix". Going into the network section and going from 2G/3G/4G (automatic) to 2G/3G (automatic) doesn't make my network drop anymore (so far for about this whole day).
Was looking at the sim status this morning and it was pretty much constantly on HSPA+ but when it went to 4G it immediately dropped my network.
That's why I changed to 2G/3G automatic instead of the normal one. Since then it hasn't dropped (for what I've seen or noticed).
Hopefully some other people can try this to see if it does the same for them.
Edit: Yes I do have a 4G bundle!
Edit 2: This obviously isn't ideal but for the time being my network at least doesn't drop completely.
