    Good question!

From the perspective of industrial design, the front side and back side are symmetrical, the curve screen can also make the body looks much thinner. Beauty lies there.

From the display effect perspective, the flexible screen has a lower reflectance than the hard screen, which can provide better content consuming experience.

From the structural space dimension perspective, the flexible screen is thinner than the hard screen, which is more conducive to the stacking of the components, and also helps the fingerprint unlocking speed.

We have optimized curve touches. According to the feedback from users in the demo area of the launch event, we are confident about it. Hands on the OnePlus 7 Pro and you will find out the answer by yourself.

@Manu J. - OxygenOS (IN) - With OP7Pro Oneplus has already pushed the envelop a bit farther in terms of Hardware..what are your plans to keep up with overall Software support/enhancement in terms of this hardware utilization.

@Emily S. or maybe someone else... Why the decision not to launch the OP 7 in North America? It was a huge disappointment when I found this out. I held off on buying the wife a phone for her birthday/mothers day in anticipation of the OP 7 to replace her S8. Now that I can't get it, i'm forced to go the Samsung route, Apple route, Xiaomi route (import) Google, or anyone else. It would seem you would want to capture as much market share as you can, & by not releasing this version here, you lost a huge fan base who wanted that price point. Seems like a really poor business decision. Seeing how the 6T was available, what not the 7? Not everyone wants to spend the money on the Pro or needs the Pro. I probably would, but the wife doesn't need that. So now I have to look at other options when I had planned on ordering the OP 7.

Without it, it is not an option for me at all.

I was looking for a 5G capable phone, not just an upgrade from the 6 series.

Why won't the regular OnePlus 7 be sold in the US? It would easily sell better than other phones at that price point. ($500-600)

@Vito L. it's been said the OP7 will not be available in NA, is that true or will it be available directly through OnePlus with NA LTE Band support?

Sure, coming somewhere end of the year, only be sold at specific MNOs, not on the free market......

If you're not using of those network operaters you're not going to be using a 5g capable network this year anyway though. It's going to take some time for 5g networks to become widely available.

I am travelling a lot and thus means that I could use 5G when roaming.

I know there are plans to launch a 5G version of the phone in Europe this year, but are there also plans to launch it in the US this year as well?

    ... as a follow-up:
    - Can we use the old cable with the Warp Power Adapter and get Warp Speed?
    - Can we use the older dash charger and get the same dash charging performance?

Interestingly - if you check the OP7 price in EUR/GBP and convert to USD it's about $625-650. I think that they felt they couldn't sell it in the US for $625 and then sell the PRO for $679
