welcome. You have been doing a wonderful job...

    thanks appreciate the kind words.

thank. GladGto join the club. ;) l try for more soon.

Thank you all for your input.

It was an interesting first attempt. I will have to try Pro Mode and pre selected focus. Definitely it's tricky to capture them at the right moment... Plus it was windy that morning and often when they were still for a second the branch moved. I had to capture the picture when they were closer to the main trunk... Have much respect for you guys who are able to capture so well these creatures. :)

I've been trying to capture stars but never got decent shots due to so much light pollution. You can see in my picture very few stars are visible, so much light pollution.

In this picture I clicked Ursa Major also known as Great Bear constellation. In India we call it Sapta Rishi Taramandal. Sapta means seven, Rishi means sage and taramandal means star constellation.

I know your struggle with windy conditions and 'fast moving Bee' :) ...
    IMG-20190424-WA0002-01.jpg
left hand fixing the object with two fingers and stabilizing with the thumb so there is a more or less stable system 'object and cam' and you can get the focus smooth ;) .. don't worry about bees, spiders, .. :D they are Friends ;)
(Thx to my wife for taking this picture with her 3T)

    Title: Small-scale supper
    IMG_20190424_181914_001.jpg

    Details:

    Location → home garden
    Device → OnePlus 6
Setup → Google Camera port by Arnova8G2 with SG SuperResZoom xml, auto settings
    Edited → nope :)
Suggested action → zoom in on that little guy!

    Story:
Not much to say here, really - I was bored and, seeing how beautiful the weather has been these past few days here in Poland, including today, I decided to go take some photos and...spotted this little fellow barely fifty meters from my house! It did take a few tries to take a good pic of him considering the size (approx. 2.5mm in length!) and mild wind, but he's been very calm and cooperative throughout the whole thing, so we did it and, I mean, look at that macro! Zoooom in!

Thanks for the additional and very useful information. Very good point: holding the object is a good idea... Will have to practice with the one handed approach. Maybe I'll have to make new friends.. :D

Also thank you to your wife for helping take the picture. :)

    You're welcome :)

I've edited the spoiler text a little bit...cause it isn't really 'one handed', the left thumb is stabilizing the phone and keeps the correct distance for focus, so the phone is nearly 'two handed'...you have to try/practice it a little bit :)
