    You did well with that first shot. It's hard with a phone camera *** you have too balance the exposure of the moon and darker foreground. But I like it​


    Thanks. The lower iso worked pretty good to get that first picture. Yes, finding that balance is fun and tricky. Have you found something else or tips that works well (with a phone)?

    Not really!!!. I am new to phone photography. I usually shoot with a DSLR. But t the challenges are similar. With DSLR, there are tricks like using neutral density filter on the upper half of the lens to allow you to get more exposure of the foreground or taking two photos and blending them in post.

    The Beams
    Srilankan Hindu temple - Kokkatichoolai.
    When I was there i show these sun light beams decorating the temple floor naturally, i got inspired and amused. So I clicked it with my oneplus. Lets grab your oneplus explore places, get inspired.

    Oneplus 3t, Gmod camera APP, no external lens used
    Auto focus, HDR on
    Aperture- f/2.0
    Focal length- 4.26mm
    Exposure time - 1/100
    ISO - 624

    ok. Please let me know when you find something that works well. Im always interested to see what others found `that work.

    I was trying a few items in pro mode. The low iso and area of focus along with zoom allowed me to capture the first picture. oh yes, one thing that is not directly part of the phone that I had to account for was the lights along the highway. I had to park between two light poles to minimize the distortion and maximize the features of the phone that I tried.
