    #4 Plants
25 Years... it took 25 years for the upbringing of these plants in my home garden!! My mom born to a family of farmers , settling down in a city has raised those plants her in our garden. Her unconditional love towards them has paid results and today they all have grown old and lush !!

    Week 4 - Plants
So I don't have any good plants at home, which is why I went over to my cousins house, where there were some nice vivid color plants, I decided to pick these 3.
    Image #1
    Money Plant

    00000IMG_00000_BURST20200525165413120_COVER (1)_922427.jpg
It's a very common plant with good health benefits. It is popularly know to filter air and increasing oxygen inflow. Also according to Feng Shui experts, it is recommended to keep it near electronics & placing it in front of a sharp corner or angle is also alleged to reduce stress & anxiety. Also known to help in sleep disorders.

    Caricature Plant

    00000IMG_00000_BURST20200525164501343_COVER__01 (2).jpg
The caricature plant thrives in both sun and full shade. Typically you see darker & richer foliage color in the sun, but it needs more water. It doesn't hold up well in drought, like other shrubs.

    Heart of Jesus

This vivid plant is a Caladium, also know as Angel wings, Elephant ears & Fancy leafed Caladium.
The Caladium species are tuberous rooted with heart shaped or arrow shaped leaves on long stalks rising directly from the tuberous. They usually need constant high humidity to maintain healthy foliage (usually outdoor plants), they are known to be very ornamental.

    Hi Community.

    Theme: Plants
Photo taken on my OnePlus 7 pro.
    No external lenses used.
    Edited using Adobe Lightroom Mobile.

    My thoughts.

I don't mean any disregard to beauty of flowers or plants in general, yet whenever I hear 'plants', my brain & heart start searching for "50 shades of green."

As always, many thanks to the Organisers and the entire community for making this place alive.

My mom was watering our balcony plants as usual every morning when I noticed that most of our Tulsi plant leaves were either dead, withered or half eaten like below-

My mom has been taking caring of it daily and it is disheartening to see our plants die without any cause [e]1f613[/e]

So I thought of investigating the cause of it and then I found it! Just look closely at the above picture, there is something camouflaged as a stem of the branch!

It might not be possible to identify with a normal glance but this insect ( I don't know the name ) has been devouring our plant leaves for a while now.

So I did what I had to... Took my good scissors to drag it out of the hiding. Here is the picture of this little culprit below

Thanks to my OnePlus 7T Pro's macromode I could share it with you guys!

In the light of the theme #plants I urge you all to check your plants and help it nurture. 🙂🙂
