    Ahoj community.

Before the SoOP of May ends I would like to write this message to you 😃
and try to share my brief feelings and experiences 🤔

    Part 1
    Expectations and time
I have selected 3 hard/advanced/tricky themes with the following ideas in mind:
    • We live in special days during last months.
    • To learn or improve photography skills.
    • To learn by sharing our views.
    • To inspire.
    • To rethink the way of capturing.
You got one week per theme and this was challenging and sometimes not easy to find the ideal conditions. The themes were focused rather on creative shots and storytelling.

    Part 2
    Inspired and learned
I see some returning advanced/pro members and I know their skills. Your work is inspiring.

I'm also happy to see the entries of new members.

And what makes me more happy is to see that with each next entry there are improvements - level ups.

    Part 3
    The most perfect part
The total amount of contest entries was not as high as in previous months but on the other side there were not so much off topic posts.

I have seen many really pro captures and pro work.

And this month is still not ended - almost half day ahead.

    😃👍

Thank you for this opportunity and experience to host the monthly contest for you.

Thank you for your contest entries.

It was fun to communicate with you.
    Thank you for the questions.
I hope my answers helped you.

    You inspired me.

If you still need some hints or my view visit the Rethink thread (find it in my signature)

    Hasta la vista,
    Tibi
    ✌️😃

My small garden - First picture is a #succulent #plant

I captured the second plant unfurling it's leaves and blossoming

Third picture, had just picked a pomegranate on my evening walk and then spotted a beautiful rose and couldn't resist snapping a picture #pomegranate #rose #burstofcolor

Nature is so authentic and beautiful

Good evening Members, I can see that game is on.
I have decided to participate with my few shots.

    Entry one, a "Fluffy One"
Taken on my 7T, during my evening walk with a dog.
It looks bit different to usual colourful plater of plant shots. Yet, there is something mystic in those little puffy endings.
Shot got some edits in LR.
    PSX_20200522_231741.jpg

Picture number two represents a capture of the raindrop on the plant in my garden.
Again, taken on 7t, MacroMode, no external lenses, some minor post processing in Photoshop.
It just shows, how different it looks from the macro level. Suddenly the invisible water droplets are changing to massive rain bombs.

Last shot, is the picture of a small Tea Bush in the garden. Taken on 7T, today, no post processing.
    Nature at its best.

    Tibi,

I am so happy about our photo experts team. Everyone in the team is pure gold. Skills, passion, knowledge, and being there for the community. All team members represent that.

Cdnfarmer already said it: your hosting was super great. And there must be a reason, that most of the useful important links in the opening post are coming from your side.

Before you, Cdnfarmer was the host. She, as we all know, is helping in the photography section for over a year, long before the experts team officially started. And the next host, from June, also will be a team member. Honestly, that makes me very happy. That we all can do this together, sharing the same passion, and being friends.

Let's say thank you to @Zach X. , who trusted in our group and provided the photography expert titles, and to @dsmonteiro who included @Bouncer71 and @cdnfarmer officially in the OnePlus community team recently. Let's say thank you to @hennes for all his fantastic input, and that incredible App yaimco, to @otto2 , who also hosted the contest last year, runs the travel blog thread, and is active in all photography related events, OEF, meetings with the OnePlus camera staff and gives daily input, and to @woSch who, well, is simply fantastic. There will be more great hosts soon.

The new contest with 4 new themes starts in between hours. Till then, you can still post your final plants pictures here, until this thread gets closed.

Have fun in the photography section, looking forward to June, and to some surprises.

    Greetings, Script

I might be a tad bit late. Saw the theme just today.
But here is a photo I captured.
    Share picture....jpg

    Device: OnePlus 6
Camera application: GCam Mod - MJL
    Edited: Snapseed
Plant: No idea what this plant is. By crowd sourcing:rolleyes: and general consensus:p, it might be the african tulip tree

    Thank you:)
This plant (or should i call it a tree), was there in front of my wife's apartments. I enquired around, but nobody knew what the tree is.
It comes in different sizes. As high as a five story building or as small as a bike.

I actually did. It did show it as some african tree. But I doubt if the result is correct.
