I took my photos in an area that appears yellowish/greenish on the map, just find a place that's partially hidden from lights and it should be good! (I would need to jump in the ocean if I want 0 light pollution...).

Also the app I shared helps to know when the moon rises (today is full so no good visibility) and the darkest hours.

Please all, if you want to participate in the contest, you need to post the correct pictures plus information about the device.

Pictures of a dark night showing the full moon or bridges or anything that is not a star, might stay in this thread, but they have no chance to win. Please keep this in mind.

I took this shot on a flight from Melbourne, Australia to Beijing, China.

There's only one little star in the top left, but it's a star nonetheless! It was challenging to capture as the flight was a little bumpy at the time of taking the photo. I took it on my OP 7 Pro using the main lens and "night scape" mode. Edited lightly in Lightroom for mobile.

This was a sunset somewhere over the ocean and it looked quite spectacular having the light filter through distant clouds. I believe the little star you can see is the planet Venus.

These pictures are not for the competition, its just to show that you guys can capture this instead of those plain star pictures.
I'm not an expert in astrophotography, but here are 2 shots :-

This was shot on a DSLR.

This was shot on a Non-Oneplus device (not edited, so you gotta turn up the brightness)

The seat next to me wasn't occupied luckily. Plus the guy sitting next to that seat slept off after he had his food. So yea, I didn't disturb em. :D
