Good picture. When did you take it? Remember, for the contest it has to be taken in the recent month, plus a maximum of 1 week back in the previous month.

    It's really a great picture!

Thanks a lot, actually it's an old photo. I know it does not fit in the contest criteria, I just felt like sharing it so I did.

I'd really love to, unfortunately it's all overcast here in India right now. I'll still try, thanks!

Very cool, will try it definitelly, but don't you damage sensor with this? Shooting 130 pics of 30 seconds exposure, is not there a chance of damaging a sensor?

No, pointing at dark skies for longer period won't do any damage, it'll only warm up the lens a bit due to the mechanical movements of the shutter , but that won't harm your lenses. However, if you use long exposure in bright light for longer period, that might do some permanent damage.

    Hi Script,
Very excited about the theme to try photography and learn from it. Thanks for providing some reference blog and settings.
When I am taking sample shot by pointing my 7T towards sky each time the output is just a white screen photo.
Do you have an idea where I might be wrong?
ISO- 3200 Shutter speed 30 and focus to infinity

    Thanks,
    Praneet

This is taken with the following settings on pro mode:
    ISO: 100
    White balance: 3700K-4300K
    Shutter speed: 30 seconds
    Focus: Infinity

Also a little bit editing of HSL in lightroom helps a lot!
