welcome as the monthly host. I enjoyed your write up.

A few starry night pictures in rural Alberta.
Tonight I was outside for a bit. It Was about -9°C , little to no wind. The owls (and another type of bird I didn't recognize,) making noise.

All pictures taken with OnePlus 6
Pro mode adjusting iso and exposure time.
No external lenses and no editing.
    Compressed with YaImCo

    IMG_20191106_200305_001.jpg
For example the following two pictures had iso and exposure adjusted. They were taken less than a minute apart.
ISO 640 and exposure time 30 sec
    IMG_20191106_200438_001.jpg

ISO 400 and exposure time 8 sec

Follow OP7 Gcam group in Telegram, there is a link for astrography version of GCam, but to be honest, stock camera app is much better for shooting night sky as GCam only allows 15 second exposure.

Is it this post? General invalid photo contest posts collection

I moved it to the other thread, as I haven't seen any stars in the picture. I could be wrong, on mobile phone it's not easy to see.

You got a notification along with the move, and an explanation in the first posts, so you hopefully got enough information.

Or are you looking for another deleted post? That I cannot explain.

    Hello stars lovers.

I've found this useful app. Based on your location it tells you which days the visibility is excelent to observe the sky, the best hours, what stellar objects are visible... If you're planning an excursion for your shooting this might be helpful!!

I'm in the "very poor" and "no observation opportunities" states for the next days... But at the mid-end of the month it'll be hopefully excellent!
