Story: As soon as I came across this contest, I was excited to show the view from my window. The view of the plush green fields, the gigantic hills, the moody clouds and the tower-scapes at the far end, gives a daily dose of relief in this busy city life . As I was juggling with the thought of sharing this shot with you guys, I stumbled upon the idea of presenting it in a shot glass.

Story: The shot of this spectacular view was taken through the flight window for our visit to Philippines. After an annoying 4-Hr wait for our flight from Manila, a glimpse of this breath-taking view of the city of Coron amongst the clouds made us forget all the weariness . It was however, just a teaser to the entire journey of the picturesque landscapes, the untouched nature & the colorful coral reefs that lay ahead of us….​

Story: I uploaded a different picture before but after witnessing this view on a lovely morning amidst the gloomy monsoon days, I couldn't resist but share this picture. Used a fish eye lens to cover the whole landscape view from my window. Times like this make me wish the secondary camera to be a Wide Angle one. Though its the same location as the first pic, the clouds and sky colors totally change the look of it. It was the day when I felt for the first time in 8 years of my stay in mumbai, that I could see the scapes far, far away so clearly. It felt like I live in a "Paradise". Love you Mumbai ​

Story Behind Picture : Sparrows are becoming rear species nowadays, very few are left. These are two of them in my house, it's very hot and humid here, I put water bowl for them after drinking they were playing and then She/he poses like this and I captured.

Story Behind the Picture: There are bricks behind my home and a mobile tower, some people are cutting the trees and making home and some utilizing it for commercial use. Nobody care about the beautiful environment.

I was listening that song and thinking about the mother nature and just clicked it.

a contest about Windows on Android - that's fun ​

A windshield is also a sort of Window, so I will start with a shot out of my car (traffic light 'red' and OP5T in a carmount) i took on the daily way to Office in Düsseldorf (Germany)

-very early in the morning, Airport DUS- dreaming of destinations far away

When i'm at Office...

... that's what i'm looking at... have a nice day ...

... a few days ago i shot this picture while driving home, i had to do a maximum break... and a u-turn... for this amazing sun set...

... out of the cars side window.

I was flying to California since I got accepted into a startup accelerator at UC Berkeley, it was a long, 11 hour trip. The views of Greenland kept my face sticked to the window for around an hour, this is just one of the most beautiful views. Enjoy!

Usually I film the squirrels in the garden, very seldom take pictures.


This pic I clicked just a moment ago


At daytime we have 6 different squirrels visiting us, at night up to 5 hedgehogs.

After my dad had passed away in 2014 my wife and me decided to move in their house, where I grew up. As a child I have never seen any squirrel or hedgehog in the garden. But in 2014 suddenly one squirrel was sitting on the table, eating some bird's food ball.

Since then we started to feed animals on the terrace. Two weeks ago one squirrel even came inside the living room to hide a nut under a banana on the table. Trust me: that was very cute.

The pics are not perfect, but the situations and the moments are.

All pics are op3T or op5, not edited, just cropped.
Ps. I changed pic 1+3. The new ones were edited with snapseed and cropped.

This is a view that I took inside the Amphitheater looking straightforward through a narrow window view of Ostrów Tumksi (Twin Towers) in Poznan, Poland. Me and my girlfriend visited her home town Poznan where her parents live and she decided to show me some of famous places in Poznan. The Amphitheater showcased the history of Poland from kings to generals, which was pretty amazing to relive it all inside. You take a moment and wonder what life was at that time and how did people from that time dealt with the hardships just like new hardships we face today.

The first photo was taken within my house, looking out at the world outside, but distorted and refracted. It looks as if it were taken in a dream state.

The second photo came from behind the car window, as the rain came down from the night sky. As it trickles down the window illuminated by the headlights and street posts, time seems slowed down and the world is absorbed as if you are a sponge.

This is after my dadu's(grandfather) death. I had to go to another state for some ceremony and I had my final the very next day. I shot this when I was coming back, and I interpret it as the light that's taking him with it. I really like taking pictures of the sky, I think it speaks alot about things we can't explain. )

This little kitty dropped by once to my room window from god knows where and I gave some milk to her. We have been friends ever since. <3

A window has the capacity to life on both sides. It gives you the reflection, just as a mirror would, but it also lets you see through to the other side. This shot was the window of the Metro train in Hyderabad, India.

This is my story, it just happend a few minutes ago..

Was taking a shower after a hot day in Lisbon, went to my room to change and saw the red colors outside : A perfect red sunset, typical after such a hot day.

So here are the results, all taken with Oneplus 6, auto mode and no filters or edits needed,oneplus camera app.

1 First one, taken while sitting on my bed

3 my favorite, I looked to the right and saw the perfect reflection in the window of my neighbors. Had to share this one because I loved the result.

Good Morning. Well, I leave the first photo of this series that @ David proposes

Taken yesterday in automatic, with the stock camera of my OnePlus 6, with HDRA activated. Slightly edited in Snapseed to get a good histogram. Reduced the size with GIMP2 to upload it.

Sometimes, the wait in the hospital is longer than expected and yesterday I had my annual ophthalmology review. While I was waiting and taking a walk, the day I was outside was good, sunny and with good light, so I went to one of the large windows in the Central University Hospital and took this picture.

The house from which the picture was taken belonged to my great grandparents, the house where my grandmother grew up. But this one burned. Today only the walls and remnants of an abandoned renovation project remain. My great-grandfather then set out to build another, more modern house. It's the one we see in the background. This house then became a holiday home, those where my mother went during her childhood, when my grandmother left her parents to live with my grandfather. Then when my mother grew up this house became hers and that of her childrens (meaning me and my siblings). At the very beginning the house was counting only three rooms but over the age it grew up et now count fifteen rooms.

ShotOnOneplus 5 : Flying to london. The view was perfect.

Story: Had to fly to london for a month. The trip was spontaneous and i literally had no room for my camera. I had the oneplus 5. In a hurry to capture the clouds which the glimpse of the window i forgot to trigger the Watermark. Still i love this shot and its one of the best airplane pictures i have in my gallery. What it shows about my world is that be it india or london the journey throughout has a universal form of nature which is shown by this cloud. A beautiful message can be left , " Be it anywhere, we should always unite like the clouds up high irrespective of the locations "

Story: It has an amazing story. I was flying to Mumbai to attend the OnePlus 6 launch in mumbai. I was excited about the event and during the journey, captured this vibrant shot through the ProMode in OnePlus 5. It was some seconds i had this view for, but capturing it and viewing it everytime makes me feel rejuvenated.

Story behind the pictures - Picture 1: Travelling from bangalore to London, the air was filled with excitement and everything seemed to be going as planned. The last minute visa arrival and the spontaneous decision to tour another country filled my head with adrenaline. The environment around me was filled with positivity and life. The budding sensation of joy was welcomed by the frost on the glass of the aeroplane window and sure did add a lot to it.

Picture 2: As the night grew darker upon the aircraft, my joy and excitement grew too. Looking out the window we noticed how high above the world we were. All this led to a long thought of how insignificant our small quarrels and fights are. We're all just a spec in this huge universe and we all have our own roles to play. Wouldn't it be so much more easier if everyone loved each other and helped each other in a growing community of life? Yet we are still given choices the good and the bad. Which is exactly what my eyes caught in this picture, the thin line between how easily it is to be driven away by either side.

No props were used to stabilize the phone just old school shivering hands and creative eyes.

Uzbekistan as a destination is stupendous. It was a sketchpedition so the first pic of course is my sketch looking out through the arch of the chorsu market - the trading domes in Buxoro, clicked on my OnePlus 5.
The second is capturing on my OnePlus 5, the travellers through the entry arch to a mausoleum of Kaffal Shashi, at the Hast Imam complex, awed by the structure and blue domes in Tashkent
The third is me awestruck after seeing the stained glass windows of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Cathedral in Tashkent. Amazing to see new artists creating these stained glass designs and executing them. This too on OnePlus 5. #nofilter

The pictures was taken from the inside of the "Cloud Forest", showing some skyscrapers and the Singapore Flyer.

I am happy to have received the OnePlus 6 on time, shortly before I started my trip to Singapore. Hence I was able to take tons of photos, including my first "out of the window" shot.

I colour splashed this photograph cause I want to deliver my main story the generation change from bnw to colourful world.

This shot was also taken at Rani Sipri's mosque, and the frame area is the main area of the mosque, Namaaz and most of the process will be held here.

I'm too obsessed with the architecture, I had spent 2-3 hours to keep feeling the architecture.

1. Picture 1 : I was in Dubai on last 31st of December, 2017. I would have been disqualified for not taking a photo in 2018, so I stayed for a couple of days more and took a flight to Pune on 3rd January, 2018. Here is a 'View Outside a Plane Window' :

2. Picture 2 : Now, I was in Pune, but I wanted to go home to Mumbai. So I thought to catch a train to Mumbai from Pune. There I got a 'View Outside a Train Window' :

And lovely thing about the world is that you can see the same day again - you can travel back into the time. Sunrise for the same day in India because of time difference of 2 hours!

3. Picture 3 : So in Mumbai now, but where in Mumbai ? Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus - CST! Let's take a 'Kaali-Peeli Taxi' to Marine Drive before going home. And there we have a 'View Outside a Taxi Window' :

We stayed a day in Rovinj, one of my favorite Seaside Towns in Istria...!

We walked around the tiny alleys and streets, amazed by it's beauty, looking at the known and searching for the new and never noticed...

We saw a acient House they seemed to try to give a modern touch, and passed by this window at belly hight...

I thought...

Wait a minute...
That's not right...

Looking inside, the proportions just did not make sense...


2. The Taste...

The region of Istria has great and award winning wines...
They produce small batches. the only way to get some of the fine liquid is in the country...
So this year we decided instead of visiting more unknown cities and beaches, we'll do a Winemakers tour with tastings...
This one was the most beautiful...
Standing on the terrace, looking out the window, sharing some classy wines with your loved one and a view for the Gods...

All I can tell...
We brought a lot...! ;D

On half way home we decided to take a break in Austria...
When be booked the Hotel , we didn't notice that that it would be a cross of the castle on a mountain as high . We wanted to go for a visit and asked how to get there walking...
( Car fully packed nearly didn't make it up to 700 m )
The answer was...:
" I wouldn't do that. The castle closes soon. You won't make it in time and it would be exhausting for nothing..."
Eventually heavy rain crossed our plans and we spend a nice evening at the place with Wiener Schnitzel, Beer and an awesome view..

I took this shot while travelling to Chamba (small town in Uttarakhand) from my cars window . I tried to capture the beautiful location of this town as it's situated between forest and the weather was just perfect as it kind of makes a frame within frame.

Great contest David , really enjoyed looking at some of the pictures shared by our fellow forum members .
I hope you don't mind me bending the rules a bit (as it's not considered polite by sitting in someone else's car at these shows ) by sharing some pictures of my view looking in through the windows of some classic cars at the annual
"Back to the 50's" car show this month where motorheads of 11,000+ classic , rebuilt and modified vehicles gathered from around the entire country to show off their work and dedication .
A great time was held by all who attended.

Some weeks ago my son and i took a flight to Morocco, as some of you might have seen in the travel blog here in the Photography section. It was very cloudy, but suddenly cloud were gone and I could make some pictures out of the windows. Down there you can see the spanish pyrenees, checking GPS tags later I was surprised - Two years ago I was right in this region on a motorbike tour with some friends.

Some. days later we were driving with a Grand Taxi to Saidia, when I shot this picture out of the Car s Window.
Wednesday, doomsday for German soccer, I was in east Germany, near the Polish border, took a picture through the Front screen of my Car.




All pictures shot on Oneplus 6,Automode,the first one pro Mode with manual Focus, Standard JPEG output. No filters, no editing,no.external lenses.

All shots were made with Oneplus One & FV-5 & Snapseed wihout extra lenses.

1) Walking on the street by night and looking above to see some stars. It is hard to see one between block of flats but not today.

2) Game of light. The sun was going to sleep and the last sun rays (through the window) were hit the glass thing.


3) At the begining I was looking from a window and I was distracted by smoke in distance. I went outside to get closer.
Later the sky was in fire.
