These toys were obtained by purchasing McDonald's Happy Meal. Though I have many toys which I own since childhood; but I opted to post these because it was internationally the same offerings by McDonald. So, it is more relatable.

Nice to see an unorthodox theme @script, So thank you for that!
Anyway, here are my guitar's one electric and one acoustic. The electric is a Les Paul (I wish, just a rip off but it performs and looks great) And the acoustic is a Takemine GD 30 CE. These are my personal items and my hobby/passion. As a kid I grew up listening to Hard Rock and Metal and was always fascinated with the guitar (always getting inspired when I listened to bands on MTV) and lucky for me that a few members of my family are musically adept and taught me the basics, and yeah, this was before youtube I lost practice over the years and during the lockdown I started to learn again (My skill is intermediate). The Takamine Guitar was gifted to me by my lil brother who moved to US in 2012, he brought it back with him in 2014 but not without issues. Despite many objections by the aviation staff, he fought with them and told he wouldn't board without it. They finally accepted and kept it by the pantry. Such an awesome lil bro right?
The Les Paul( rip off ) was purchased by me after my first electric guitar (Ibanez) broke. Its from a brand called Vault who make really good economical guitars for casual players but the quality is equal to a mid tier guitar of a reputed brand. I purchased this in 2017 or 2018 I think, and the reason why I chose this is because of SLASH!! (Guns N Roses LEAD SHREDDER!!!!!), I was heavily influenced by them in my mid teens and always wanted to play the goosebumping November Rain Solo! (learning it currently). said:
I do guitar covers now and then with my bro and his friend for fun and its a great stress reliever.
    So that's about it,
Do you guys play any instrument?

    Moms Sewing Machine
There is an important corner in my house where my mother's sewing machine is placed. The machine is a kind that has a manual foot pedal..
Once there was a time it was of constant use. During my childhood, mother would sit for hours sewing and threading and lining the fabric prefectly. The machine runs with a "kirking " sound all the day.
Today she is busy with taking care of my Dad and her grand children. After the house chores are over, she steal away a little time to recreate her passion making tiny clothes for her grand children and their
toys. I could see a special joy which charge her to move on...

I love reading and clicking pictures. This picture contains a shot in which two things reflecting each other(a short chemistry between a lamp and a book). The illumination of a lamp is removing the darkness around a book kept behind it. The book(ikigai-based on) reflecting the secret of happy and long life. It feels both are fulfilling there purpose here and speaking to eachother without a voice.

Edit: forgot to mention, photos taken on OnePlus 7 Pro, no edits, compressed with YaImCo.

Since the whole month is personal items, I thought I would do my own theme each week. Week 1 was video game systems, and week 2 will be cameras.

This camera was my Mother's first camera, bought for her by her late Father in the 1960s. It is a Kodak Brownie Fiesta. A super basic camera, there is basically nothing inside it except a rod for the film and a manual winding knob. I'm sure it would still work if I could find some film for it since my Mom took good care of it and it's still in the original box. She had a nice trip down memory lane when I dug it up and showed it to her.

There were other film cameras over the years but this next one was my family's first digital camera. A Casio Exilim. It was a really good camera at the time, and had a "massive" 2GB memory card! :p

This last camera is my Dad's current piece of kit. He was always interested in photography and his first SLR camera was a Pentax from the 70s or 80s (I'm not sure which). When it stopped working he went without for a while but then bought a DSLR some time ago. He went with the same brand, but had to get new lenses since the old ones weren't compatible. Here is his Pentax K-50 with a very large lens on it :D

I hope you've enjoyed these photos, I'll try to come up with a cool theme for next week!

Haha yeah he is, I love fender, I had one, a stratocaster, but my bro liked it soo much that I gave it to him. He plays John mayer style so it's better used with him. And again with another flight story [e]1f602[/e]
What is stelsie, by the way? I've never heard of them before 🤔

    Week 3
    Begins Now

Welcome to the third week for the SoOP contest on Personal Items of your life.

It seems to be an unusual, nevertheless appreciated theme. Thank you all. It's always an exciting experiment, how the community will react. The second week showed again great pictures, tho I had to remove quite a few:)

It is not easy to show the beloved personal items in a great way. One important thing is, to have a good background. Overall, I said that last week, this is still a photo contest.

For more info about taking good pictures please have a look at the opening post. In the „additional reading“ you can find really great, selected info. Especially the „re-think a photo“ thread is a great source for tips, and the „link collection“ (by me) contains many super interesting tutorials and tips about photography, by professional photographers.

Taking pictures is fun, taking better pics is funnier:)

Let's see what you have, in week three.

Ps. as some new members asked: just add your 3 pictures, together with a brief story, to this thread. There is a tutorial in the opening post about the best way to upload pictures.

Yes, I could give you the direct links, but, I want to help (force, hehe) you to read the full opening post of the contest :)

coming to the shot it is a picturised random click. I was trying to click some good shots for the Insta story. and out of may shots I found the is a cool shot so I posted it.

    Masks and sanitizers:

These were the two things that have been used least by an individual. Eventually, the situation of the COVID-19 pandemic that broke out in late 2019 made it as a lifesaver of mankind.

Now, it is mandatory to wear a Mask and carry the sanitizers while going for shopping or while traversing.
