I think this month I also post something.... ;)

Last week @otto2 contacted me that he was spontaneously in my area to visit Heidelberg and to see that anual Castle Lighting...
I had to work that weekend, but so what...
Right after work I drove to Heidelberg we met and actually found a good spot to watch the fireworks...

We had a great time and the rest is history... ;)

The Ganesh festival is on in full swing and we witness happy faces, positive vibes and festive fervour spread across the city. People are going gaga for their beloved lord and cheering ‘Ganpati Bappa Morya!’ And why not? This is how they show their love for their beloved Bappa. As days pass, the excitement grows and the one thing which remains constant is sweet modaks. The whole world knows that the modak is Bappa’s favourite sweet and hence, he is also called Modakpriya. Those sweet mini dumplings filled with grated coconut, sugar and jaggery are offered by devotees to the Elephant God throughout the Ganesh festival.

This wrecked boat caught my attention. Visited my native after a long time and was amazed to see how beautiful it has grown. Konkan is blessed during the monsoons. This picture was shot during an evening stroll down the beach.

Each plant in the picture has a story of it's own.
it's not only a gift from mother nature, but also is one from a special person in my life.
Each plant is a birthday present that I've been getting from that person since 3 years.
They are sitting right in my balcony and a day wouldn't pass by without looking at em grow.

So this is how they look, this September. [e]1f339[/e]

    Story Behind the picture :

“Don’t tell your Ganesha how big your problems are, tell your problems how big your Ganesha is.”

This was my 5th year of visiting Lalbaug cha Raja. Trust me! Mumbai is totally different during 10 days of Ganesh Festival.

Lalbaugcha Raja , now in 82nd year, is one of the largest pandals across Mumbai. It is by far the most visited and talked-about. Darshan of Lalbaugcha Raja it is not as simple as it seems.

There are two types of line for common public to offer their prayers to Bapa. One is ‘Mukh Darshan’ line and other is ‘Navas’ line. If you are satisfied by seeing the idol from a little distance than one should join the ‘mukh darshan’ line.

After all struggle and spending time in queue, I was in front of Grand Idol of Lalbaugcha Raja. It was very soulful experience of 3 minutes before I’re pulled toward the exit by volunteers. I tried to capture this experience in this Picture,

All I can say is I still can’t get over that feeling till next year :)
