I have been using my One for almost a year now. I like it but there is a few cons. I've been looking for the new Oppo R7 Plus.

My biggest concern is the SD615 vs the 801 of the One. Will it be slower? And if so , will it be significantly slower? Any info on the battery life ?

Overall, should i get it and sell The Oneplus One?

Don't go for the 615, it's a budget SOC. You should go for the OPPO N3 or the Xiaomi Note.

    Exactly. I have this processor on Idol 3, which I bought on a pre-sale for $199. :)

The Mi5 indeed or if OP wants the cheaper 615 without paying 700 USD maybe the RedMi Note 2 is a good option.

the R7+ is a great phone but more directed to lifestyle oriented customers which want combined style + usability instead of living on the enthusiast edge

or in other words, it's for people which go more for looks than actual specs

Mi-4 and meizu mx-4 and pro declined in price, but they do not support 4g lte in the USA. My options now are OPO, Idol 3 by Alcatel, Zenfone 2, or Huawei Ascend Mate 2. Huawei is huge, and Zenfone has mixed reviews because Intel processor seems to drain its battery relatively fast, which leaves me with OPO and Idol-3 (I own both). When Xiaomi releases its next two models in the States and OPO rolls out OP2, others will also respond. Personally, I am banking on Meizu with Ubuntu: will be interesting.:)

810 in 1+2 is a more powerful chip for sure, (if the rumor is correct) but I heard some review saying the 810 may have overheating issue

For normal usage 615 is good enough, maybe even save u some juice in battery usage

If u r looking for power then wait for +2, if not then r7 is a good choice
