If you just want the better phone flat out, no questions asked, get the Note 4.

If you want to think it through, like bang for your buck, then obviously get the OPO.

I would personally get the OPO since the Note 4's specs aren't insanely higher than the OPO's, although the price is.

If I'm honest, your asking if you should get a oneplus one or a note for on the ONEPLUS forums. Almost everyone on this forum likes oneplus so it might be a little biased. But in my opinion you should get a oneplus one.

Honest advice : get the note 4 if you have the money. OnePlus One is great for the price but I wouldn't think twice about getting a note 4 if I could :)

Is there a thread on Samsung's page where someone asks, "Should I get the Ophelia
    OnePlus or the Samsung WTF?"

I own both and will be returning the oneplus one. Not because it's a bad phone but because customer service is grossly inadequate. I find the battery to last much longer on the 1+1 so I called samsung and within 10 minutes I had resolution and the promise of a new battery if the troubleshooting instructions were not satisfactory. How much is that worth? Double the money? I'm not sure. Samsung didn't ask me for photos or videos of my problem! When you buy the note 4 you will be buying at the very least piece of mind; when you buy the oneplus one you will be buying a very nice phone coupled with lots of uncertainty.

I have the Note 3. The best thing about the Note phones is the stylus that allows handwriting input...the handwriting recognition is phenomenal. However if you aren't going to use the stylus for handwriting or the specific lasso function it can give then there's no point in paying all that money for it. Wish I'd known about the OPO earlier, I would've waited to get it instead. o_O

Having used both Note 3 and OPO, I think the s-pen and multi-window are godsends. If budget is not an issue, Note 3

For a guilt-free buy though, OPO. plus you get some juicy geek factor :p

Since you're asking the question, I will assume money is not a problem whatsoever to you.

    My answer : Note 4
Better screen, bigger battery, better processor...and faster updates .

If money's tight, the OPO is probably best, with the Note 4 having the slightly better specs but being more expensive, it depends on your needs and money you want to spend :)
