yes there is! download lawnchair V2 APK and look at the home widget settings under event sources - enable now playing. works with Spotify Netflix etc.

Where is the 'now playing', I don't see it? I have Lawn chair installed and all set up.

What version of the app are you running? Did you download APK or did you download from the play store?

V2 was only available via APK until recently when they started a beta programme on the play store. So you need to make sure you're part of the beta programme on the play store to access V2. I'm currently running Version 2.0-2551.
