    Hey,

It's me again, been some time since I made a "Show Your" thread. This time, let's have it about watches. Perticularly yours.

But to start, let's look at mine first. I have a few, and I'm always looking for fun and different (affordable) watches. Here's my entire collection:

    IMG_20210729_201215-01.jpeg

It's a little bit of everything, in different styles. I like to have some cheaper, but interesting watches. That way I don't need to be super careful with them. When one breaks, I usually just replace it with a new one. I actually did own some smart watches in the past as well, but that's been replaced with a smart band on the opposite arm.

Let's look at my 4 favorites in no perticular order.

    First:

This Festina was my 21st birthday present from my parents. I absolutely love it's styling, especially it's watchface. It also comes with a 1/100th second chronometer, the only watch in my collection this accurate.

    Second:

My first automatic (self winding mechanical) watch was this Fiyta. It's a relatively unknown brand here, but it's actually one of China's higher end domestic watch brands. They even made some watches for their astronauts, and even design and make their own movements. This was basically the watch I bought with my first paycheck, but is also my most expensive one. For this reason I usually keep it for special occasions.

    Third:

Everyone needs a japanese watch in their collection, so for that reason I bought this Seiko 5 series. It's an affordable automatic watch, with day and date display. This perticular model has nothing extra fancy, and is actually the entry level model from Seiko automatics. Ideal first watch to get, especially if you don't want to deal with batteries. The bands on them are quite horrible nylon straps, so on the very first day I replaced it with this leather strap.

    Fourth:

Lastly, my latest purchase and inspiration for this post. A Vostok Commander with 24h display. Again a not so we'll known brand in the west... But back when Russia was the Soviet union, this was their military brand. It's actually quite interesting since it doesn't use any western patterns in it's design. This makes it have some interesting quirks, but again super affordable, especially for an automatic watch.

Any questions about my watches? Feel free to ask below, but be sure to show your own as well!

Thanks, there's a few "boring" ones in the collection... But need some to wear when working in the garden or painting the walls 😉

True. They're all just small (electro)mechanical wrist machines.

Wow, that's quite the collection you've got there!👍 If i had to pick one i'd go with the festina, by far the most beautiful one in my opinion. My collection (don't laugh 😉) exists of exactly one watch i got for my birthday a while back, the watch active 2 from Samsung.

Well, the nice thing about smartwatches is, you can easily change their look!

True. I never really had a watch before, i use this mostly to track my workouts. My ex girlfriend bought me a real expensive one and i lost it a week later on vacation. After that i stopped wearing expensive accessories, i even lost my wedding ring the second day of our honeymoon as well.🤦😂 Still married though.😉

I "was" a big fan of Watches when I could not afford many during college days. Now , the damn mobile took over the watches.

Haha, that sucks. I'm at least good at not losing things... do tend to break them though.

Most of these watches are below 150 euro, except the fiyta.

Good. It's usually a nice middle price point for not getting something cheap, but also not something you feel bad for wearing often.
