I mistakenly poked the microphone hole with sim card tool during sim replacement.
Is there any chance that can damage the water resisting membrane by this mistake?
Im really worried. Please help me guys.

    TIA.

Yes....quite possible depending on how strongly you poked it.

I don't trust too much about the IP68 rating of 9Pro as well, it might not be damaged with the poking.

Check out the Jerryrigeverything's video on YouTube, you will find out. I don't use a 9Pro.

Is there a membrane ? Yes.

Has he poked it ? Possibly.

Will it affect day to day functioning ? No.

It's very unlikely that any considerable amount of water will enter through the mic hole even if you ever get your device wet.

More likely point of entry is the USB port.

    Tough question 🤔
the design part is too technical to confirm until someone has done some tear down analysis as it's unlikely that detail is readily available in public domain. Also, really doubtful if anyone here can say for sure that the poking has compromised or not or upto what level.

Preferably get it checked at the nearest service center if possible as that will give some level guarantee.
