My sim is either showing sim card not detected error or no service error randomly throughout the day and heats up automatically and then it restarts. My wifi also stops working automatically once my mobile network is gone! please help!

I have same issues. After phone restarts sometimes it doesn't recognize the SIM-CARD. Regardless if in Slot 1 or Slot 2. Regardless what SIM card (tried a few).
Only solution for me is to restart the phone until it start recognizing the sim

hello, I have the same issues with French SIM cards (I've tried a few). Sometimes it works after I restart it twice, otherwise I need to do it up to 10 times, which is a pain

    Try reset your Network Adapters.

Settings, System, Reset Options, Reset WiFi Mobile Bluetooth.

If that doesn't fix it, contact your network service provider and get a replacement Sim.

If they said they fixed it, then there should be a warranty on their work.

Bring it back to them to check it out and see if there is a physical issue with their replacements or repair.

Again you said you got the hardware fixed and it worked for 5 days fine. But now not working.

Sounds like something has gone wrong with the hardware again. You need to talk to the people who repaired your phone to see why its not working again.

I am not having any restart issues, nor am I having any WIFI issues. However, around the time I installed the latest update (Oxygen OS 10.3.5, says here it's the latest) a few days ago, the SIM card detection has just been randomly cutting off. I am from Malaysia and I am running two SIM cards - MAXIS & CELCOM, which are the top 2 service providers in our region. Either one of them will just show no network/emergency calls only throughout the day (like how it is shown in the screenshot below.) I am still in the same area as before, so there shouldn't be any cellular coverage factor in play. In the image below, I was trying to do a speed test. It did not work. Even when I have 4G+ connectivity, the speed never passes 10kb/s.

    What I've tried:
    - Changing SIM cards
    - Restarting the phone

What I haven't tried (and possibly not want to try):
    - Factory reset
    - Downgrade OS (haven't done research on how to do just yet)
    - Get it to a hardware store to get it checked out (there are no OP service centre around)

Have any of you faced this issue? Have you gotten it fixed yet? Any input will be much appreciated. Many thanks in advance!
