I have T-Mobile OnePlus 7 Pro for almost 14 months ( with a Texas Number), I'm in Canada and I'm always roaming with Telus network. T-Mobile wont unlock my phone for another 10 months.
I have already flashed my OnePlus with International Firmware successfully, I also bought a dual sim card tray to use both Networks (T-Mobile and a local network) at the same time so people don't have to call a long distance to reach me; I can see 2 sim card however the second SIM card is greyed out.
What do I need to do next to reach my goal?

Ah, I see your problem right away: carrier-branded OP devices do not support dual SIM despite it being unlocked. Only the factory-unlocked/international variants do.

No. I have two tmobile devices that I've flashed to international versions and both sim cards in each device work flawlessly, including roaming T-mobile in Europe and a prepaid sim card at once.

You absolutely need the bootloader unlocked from developer options menu.

If T-mobile didn't unlock your device, and you have it flash or not, you are still gonna be stuck with T-mobile until they can unlock it.
Bare in mind that you WILL HAVE TO flash it back to tmobile firmware in order to get it unlocked.

I suggest to pay off the device asap. Call T-mobile after and tell them that you've paid it off and you had it longer than 3 months. They'll unlock it for ya.

They do make special circumstances as well. I had my devices unlocked the same week after I purchased them outright... Even though they told me I have to wait 3 months. Sweet talk them via T-mobile App.
