    Simple steps :

Before doing any thing (( BACKUP YOUR DATA ))

1- download the Android 11 beta and flash it by local update

2- rollback to EU update by this link provide by OnePlus team
    Oxygen OS 10.5.8.IN11BA
    https://oxygenos.oneplus.net/OnePlu...all_2005100255_downgrade_2d24414aaa814738.zip

    3- enjoy photochrom

I HAVE IN2020 WITHE PHOTOCHROM NOW AFTER I LOST IT AND I TRY THIS WAY AND I GOT IT BACK 😋

One last thing if you update your device via OTA you might loose it.

You are right...but I have a fake camera that has not any kind of use. It is just a decoration and I paid 1009 €
It is not ethical disable something that you paid for.
Company refuse to do RMA process and send the money back

    They can't make everyone happy...
First the nutheads that screamed ban/boycott.
Then the ones that said too low resolution, useless and gimmicky.
Then the ones that actually had a good use of the single lens.
Hopefully there will be a easier way to access single lens even without root.

Yes, it is not about to make everyone happy...I just have what I bought and paid for. If people think it is low resolution, have problems about to see through some plastics...their problems. It is like you buy a Tesla and after 3 month they disable by software your electric windows.

I would prefer to see it as changing the way you control the "windows". Like if they have some quick up feature as standard but now slower with more sensitive monitoring to protecting your kids fingers regardless of having kids or not... 😋

You don't have to update to A11 to use the rollback package.

No no. In my phone this camera has not any use. I can cover it and change all the camara modes and no one use this camera. Maybe it is a different update status...I'm in Spain

When for filling the desired brightness it should kick in. But the results is depening on the IR level in the light. Objects that is not normally see through remains that way since it now blends visible light and the color filter light.

I'm also in Spain. At first I thought same as you, no use.

Try this... First you have to try it outdoors, plenty of light. With the main camera switch to photocrome. Then block the photocrome lens... If I do that the image is there but the filter goes away. Looks like main photocrome working together.
Let me know if it works the same for you.
Still not very useful to have and pay for a lens with so limited use
    Saludos

Rooted users may enjoy it with GCam though. Still unverified though.

That's not really IR pictures as before. That is just a fake filter effect. You can prove it disabled the IR sensor by trying to use IR LEDs as a flashlight and you no longer can
