    Hello OnePlus community,
First things first thanks @Ruby G. , @Gary C. and all the other people working in software team for this brand new amazing contest!
It was so fun and challenging creating this project and see myself as a " Designer " creating PRD and diagrams. So, without further do, this is my idea for a new OxygenOS feature.

My suggestion considers combining Functionality and Security for our OnePlus devices.
SecuryOOS is the name of the feature (We can call it " Security OxygenOS module " ) that includes minor functionality and security features to our OS.

    Diagrams:

    sketches SecuryOOS.jpg

    PRD:
    (with images)

    Q1: Who are the users?

➴ Users are every OnePlus user, from beginners to experts.

Q2: What is the proposed function?

Proposed function is a security and functionality feature to add in our OxygenOS.
    It comprehends:

Customizing power menu with the buttons you want.
You will be able to customize your OS even further. You decide what's coming in your screen when you press the power button.
There could be options for Screen Recording ― which is going to come natively in Android Q!! ― reboot, screenshots, lockdown mode and many more possibilities that OnePlus can provide to us.

➴ It could include a customization before lockscreen and after lockscreen.
➴ It will have screen recording, reboot, screenshots, lockdown mode, hide visibility from lockscreen and OnePlus could include as many possibilities as they want.
➴ Hide button will hide it from lockscreen, which will give more control of lockscreen for a user.

    For example,
The user should be able to set Screenshot after unlocking but not before.
Here are some rendering animations and images:
(NOTE: Just to have an idea of the feature!)

    Power_menu_custom.jpg

This is the power menu accessible from lockscreen and security setting.

    Locked_lockscreen_powerbutton.gif

This is how the feature behaves when you hide the power menu from the lockscreen(SAMPLE RENDERING! It should not show up.)

    OnePlus_unlocked_powerbutton_animation.gif

This is how the feature behaves when the screen is unlocked with three buttons added

➴ Locking or opening Lockscreen notification area for certain apps.
This means: when the phone's locked, only certain apps will show notification OR only certain apps will NOT show notifications. Apps are decided by user.
When you unlock the phone, however, every notification will show automatically (This feature affects only lockscreen!)
    Here is a rendering image:
(NOTE: Just to have an idea of the feature!)

    Notification_area_lock.jpg

This is how the lock notification area feature should look

➴ App locker with Face Unlock feature.
App locker will include face unlock other than fingerprint to unlock Apps as this will provide more functionality and security.
    Here are rendering images:
(NOTE: Just to have an idea of the feature!)

    Use_face_unlock_for_apps_onePlus.jpg

This is how the App Locker should look.

    Face_Unlock_for_apps_oneplus.png

This is a locked app with face unlock avaliable

    Privacy Guard feature.
Privacy guard consist of giving Per App permissions when you want.

    Give the permission,
    Remove it,
ask each time it is needed. You decide.

It could include a quick toggle or a on/off button to enable the mode, because there could be users that are not interested in using the feature ― Like begginers ― and users that want to set each permission troughtout their journey with the phone.
User could be able to set (Maybe with a toggle!) " Ask Everytime " to let user decide when he wants to give a specific permission (For example GPS permission.)
    Here are rendering images:
(NOTE: Just to have an idea of the feature!)

This is privacy guard feature of WhatsApp app.

    Utility_menu.jpg

This is utility menu with the new privacy guard feature.

    Privacy_Guard_toggle.jpg

This is quick toggle menu with the new privacy guard feature.

Q3: What is the user value?

Users will feel a more functional phone with security and functional features.
Privacy Guard will make the user feel more comfortable and secure, letting him set permissions as he wants, when he wants.
Especially with a quick toggle or on/off button, he will be able to decide if he needs to manage permissions or not. ―
Customizing power menu button will allow the user to have more control in the lockscreen, and after lockscreen, having the button he wants for more functionality.
Face unlock for apps will allow the user to set face unlock for his blocked apps, so he could reach a major level of security and unlocking speed for his favourite apps.
Lockscreen notification lock will allow the user to decide which app's notification must be shown and which NOT for privacy concerns and many more uses.

Q4: If there are any comparable functions in the smartphone industry, how is your proposed feature superior?

It is superior as a OnePlus device will offer the best functional and secure Phone with adding this module to its software.
Along with the customization it will offer, as no other stock OS offer.
OxygenOS will be the best Android customization, offering user a functional, stable and smooth OS.

OnePlus amazing as always. Thanks for listening to us.

I like your ideas, I have one question about the power off function... How will it work if the phone totally freeze and the phone can't be unlocked?

If you have stock OxygenOS.. i doubt it'll freeze to be honest.
But let's put the case it does, OnePlus should be optimizing this feature as best as they can, to cover even these cases.
    Maybe with an auto reboot.
If it's totally frozen even the power button would not work too!

    Thanks for your feedback @Liehjan

That is wrong, if you keep your power button pressed it triggers a restart by hardware
You can't turn this off by software

    That's a translation error. I apologize. (I'm not a native english speaker)

I mean that you can only reboot and screenshot when your phone is locked.

Calm down mate, I just tested and it triggers a power off , not a reboot wich means restart of the phone.

    https://www.vocabulary.com/dictionary/reboot

Just a misunderstanding, don't need to behave like this.
Still there are users that does not know this.
Anyway there could be possibilities to implement the function, peace ;)

we don't need to disable power options. in that case your idea is bust.
and according to what i understand power off will only appear when the device is unlocked, what if i want to power off my device in locked stated because it froze and i want to boot to recovery to wipe my device?

    Hi, thanks for your feedback.

There could be several ways to implement the feature like having combination of commands, on/off feature and many more.

Still, i will be glad to hear your opinion about the whole thread.

Holding down power button in the lock screen will reboot the device. That will solve the freezing problem and that is how it should be.

On the lock screen, unauthorised user should only have the option to force reboot. Nothing else. No access to notification area, no access to quick settings and certainly no option to power it down. There are several reasons why this would add to the security of the device. It isn't foolproof, but would certainly make it difficult for someone unauthorised.
