    Just a mere suggestion!!
I wasn't a fan of JIO and I try to laugh at other people who was using the same but then I observed it that JIO is actually giving us better speed than any network provider currently in a really cheap price so I use Vodafone for calling and JIO for Internet.

I have similar problem from day one on my 5t, before i had op3 and always had a god signal with 4g+ /LTE-a
    on my 5t i have only 4g /LTE
And got to a conclusion that its different technology by looking in 'phone info' by dialing *#*#4636*#*# or something like that (u can google that secret menu code easy), and check the "set preferred network type" it's
TD-SCDMA/CDMA/UMTS and i cant change it to
LTE/UMTS auro prl..like it was on op3 by default.
I google it and difference that I've id found that OP 3 have LTE-A and have (2CA) Cat6 300/50 Mbps modem type.
    Op5t have HSPA, LTE-A (3CA) Cat12 600/150 Mbps..
I could be very wrong! but have no other explanation why the same sim with same APN and ect..have a different siglas
Luckily for me my data dont work so slow as yours but it's annoying.
    Good luck!

Hello, did you solve this issue? I jus bought the op5t and have the exact problem, i went into the secret code and there are only 2 options that make the 4g go as it should, lte only, and lte/cdma, both of them wont let me receive calls and sms, for some reason i cannot make the phone go fast on lte and receive calls.

This happens to me, too, and it's very annoying. This phone is a piece of garbage. The camera is god damn awful and I'm also experiencing 0.00 K/s on both SIM cards. My guess is that they used shitty network hardware which is now dying less than a year after my purchase. I'll just buy a damn Pixel next time instead of some lame OnePlus junk.

I'm having the same issues lately but it was fixed when i changed my preferred network to LTE/TD-SCDMA/WCDMA.

Put the SIM in slot 1, enable roaming. If you're using Jio then enable data, calls and messages.

I'm fighting with a similar problem. Since I passed to Vodafone, I'm having problems with 4g and 4g+ connections. My speed tests are very high, around 80down/15up mbps, but in general use, like with YouTube or the GooglePlay, I can't go over 300Kbps..if I force 3g, and I navigate under H+, everything works properly. I'm trying everything to fix this issue, but still nothing..

P.s. Forgot to say that the problem disappears if I use a VPN service.. But those services are too expensive to be a permanent solution...
