No, you do these to get an invite. These are pre-reqs for an invite. If you just request an invite you wont get it. At least not soon. Yea, they rely a lot on word of mouth for their marketing. But if they made it easy to get the phone i will go all over praising the phone. I know its a good phone. But what is happening now is they are getting bad reps. I saw a twitter post from one plus saying you dont have to wait you can watch the unboxing at android authority. All of the replies were negative, people saying yea we do have to wait cause you arent giving your customers the phone. If the phone was easier to get then they would get great word of mouth. Just read through this thread and see how many people are already fed up with this phone. Fans are sick of it and leaving. Then they will spread the word, this phone sucks cause you cant get it.

Realy interesting. Yesterday ********** put 1000 phones on sale for a normal price and at this moment (after 23h of sale) there are still more then 170 available. That really confuses me, since there are like 100.000 people here bagging for invite. I know that the phone is China and not EU version, but still really weird. I would say that price 70 $ more for the phone and not having to wait and beg would convience more than 830 people in one day.

Man i can gurantee they allready send some invites to the reservation list.
I am no early adopter, no pop up winner, etc.
I was on Reservation List on Place 1234 when i received my invite.

But, to be hontest, i believe its also about the domain, you registered yourself on the reservation list.
For example: i only knew friends with .de Domains who got an Invite. Friends with .com Domains didnt got one ... This also explains why hwy indians on place 400 didnt get an invote but germans on 1234 get one

I did not purchase OPO because I kept waiting for the invite for long time. Though I was watching the development since almost day one.

OP2 mentioned something and they fail to deliver. Their supporters waited for it and now are frustrated. "buggy product" is not an acceptable answer anymore. Surely some have already switched and more will follow if they dont get their invite in few days.
