I have my OP3 for about 3 years now.
It's been always working just fine with minor crashes here and there, but now with the android 9 pie the device ia really sluggish and slow!
is anyone experiencing the same problems???

    Thank you!!!

if you have just updated the phone, then give it a few days or rather a few charge cycles for the new software and battery to settle.also try clearing cache from recovery.if nothing helps then you are gonna have to factory reset the phone

hi... I've just installed an app called hibernator to shut them background apps that I don't use.
it looks to be a bit better now.
but I still think this android pie update for the OP3 was not needed!!!
phone worked absolutely beautiful with Oreo...
    thank you!!!

Did you do a factory reset after the update? It's really really recommended doing so after a huge upgrade like going to Pie. My OP3 is working perfectly with the new Pie update.

Even after factory reset, battery consumption is more faster and it heats more than usual..

    Will there be any solution?

Of course it is, you just performed a factory reset.

It takes at least several full discharge/charge cycles before the OS settles down, collecting system data, rebuilding cache etc.
