I am unable to send Messages from my Jio sim inserted in my Slot 1 but incoming messages are coming.

I have contacted the Jio support and they said to Change the SMSC no to 1234 from +917021075009 and enabling the Data roaming and restart the phone but still the problem is not resolved.

I have inserted the same Jio Sim in another phone and the messages are been sent from the another phone.

I have reset the Jio APN settings to Default but then to i am not able to send the Message from this One Plus 5.

Then try using +917012075009 as the SMSC number. Have you tried clearing device cache?

It seems like a problem with the SMSC number. Try using +917010075009 and also clear the device cache in recovery. Apparently some Jio users solved this problem by clearing device cache.

You're saying the SIM is able to send messages when inserted in another device, right? I suggest inserting the SIM in that device again and check if the messages are being sent and then copy the SMSC number from that device. Use this SMSC number in your OnePlus device and the messaging services should work normally again.
This is a device specific issue and not a known bug in the update. If it still doesn't work, you'll have to get back to the Jio helpline to see if they can help you.

I am also facing the same issue. When I contacted jio they told me to update the SMSC number to 1234. I tried above solutions too but still not able to send SMS. Jio customer informed it's a device issue.

I'm having the same issue here in New Zealand with both Digital island/Spark and 2Degrees networks. Appears to be OnePlus issue, rather than network though.

I showed my phone at OnePlus service center they told to take the full backup of phone & do the factory reset. Since I have so much data in my phone didn't take the backup & tried changing the jio sim slot from sim 1 to sim 2 in my phone & the SMS are getting sent now.
I think the issue is with sim slot not the network.

Was facing the exact same issue, at Mumbai, Maharashtra.
Jio customer care told me to set the SMSC number to 1234, which DID NOT solve the issue.

However, the method suggested above by Atit_Shah worked fine and now Jio SMS are going via Sim 1.

Steps were: Replace Jio from Sim 1 with the second sim. Restart phone, send SMS from Sim 2(now Jio).
Again reswap the Sim cards to bring Jio back in Sim 1 and retry sending SMS. It should work.
