Other SMS texting in car with Google Assistant has been moody for months Jul 25, 2019

Hiya,

I used to be able to 'Hey Google' and send text messages with very little error rates. Something changed with Assistant and it's now giving me lots of "try agains" and "I'm still learning how to do things".

Is this a known issue?

(I've considered the following at this link but believe it's a network issue.
