As you can see in the screenshot Snapchat is always at the top of the list of "battery hogs" and it mostly drains at screen off/standby so can anyone offer suggestions in how to fix this or explain why it happens, than you very much.

Facebook is fine for me I used in quite a lot today and it didn't even show up in my battery usage as you can see in the screenshot it's just Snapchat, I think Facebook fixed the battery drain with an update this is exactly what Snapchat needs to do now

in developer options you have an option which is called running services, go that and stop snap chat from there. you might close other battery draining apps from there.

Even if it happened only on OnePlus devices, it's not OnePlus' fault, the Snapchat is just terrible

Alright, I'm really hoping Snapchat fixes this "battery drain" with an update just like Facebook did that would be amazing as I use Snapchat on a daily basis.

it should but, sometimes it starts back with force stop, sometimes not. this method works for me when I don't use the "deep clear" option
