Snapdragon 810 heat issue

Just got my ZTE Axon it has the snapdragon v2.1 and the heat issue is not fixed despite what Qualcomm says or One Plus. It gets hot watching YouTube videos and browsing the web for 2 minutes.
The heat from browsing the web is equivelent to gaming for an hour on the one plus one
And it eats up battery life.
I think I'm gonna return it and get the moto X style

Won't help a lot, copper plating helps more.

your logic is biased, because you chose a cheap unknown brand you assume it's the same for all others. the 2 does not overheat like so many others which were said to. you fell for the wrong specs. i know it because i checked on that phone and discarded it for good and now for even better reason

What's the ZTE Axon got to do with the OP2? It's about more than just the processor used.

ZTE is the 4th largest smartphone maker......... and its the exact same CPU which means heat output is going to be the same

The processor is the source of the heat issue

biased maybe, but you/me/we/who dont know anything yet... before anyone keep coming with stupid comments like x product overheats so dont buy it, or Y product is better etc... X product is bad is bad, we dont know Y products is same or not yet, so lets all not make assumptions and start whose penis is bigger fights for something we dont know yet... it could be dud, it could be better... just wait until u got the thing... if you dont wanna be guinea pig, so dont be, just wait and see others take the hit!

Yes but it's about how that is housed and dissipated. Copper or graphite plating, thermal gel, materials on back....what does the ZTE Axon use?

Its the clock speed that overheats it and the all metal frame and case.

Axon running At 2.1ghz while OP2 at 1.8.

Also GPU running slower too and no NFC or fast charge enabled in the 2. All extra processes that cause heat.

    OP2 won't overheat.

Axon is running at 2.0 ghz and where did one plus say they were underclocking the OP2.

Did you ever get anyone to help you out? I will definitely help assuming OnePlus remembers to ship their phones to the US this time.
