Guys just wanted to highlight few things about this topic.
1)Don't you think Snapdragon 821 is has got very poor performance compared to other mid range processors like 675,710,etc... I mean it heats a lot when doing just normal stuff like social media. Whereas in my sister's Oneplus 5, 835 seems to good compared with it.

    2) Call of duty Mobile is not compatible with Oneplus 3T. i mean it lags a lot lot lot. kept my settings of quality-low and frame rate-medium. Whereas in Oneplus 5, which is 2 years old device, it works good with max setting

Its not a redundant thread. i just made this for everyone who is aware of this and is facing a issue like me. So cheers[e]1f44d[/e]

Snapdragon 821, was a flagship CPU not midrange but it is old, it's essentially the same architecture as the 820 which was 6 months old when the OP3 launched, making it very nearly 4 years old now.

The fact that COD developers chose not to optimise their code for the 820/21 is their issue not OnePlus'

TBH if you want to play games on your phone you'd be better off using a new midrange phone, rather than a 3/3.5 year old flagship.

I didn't say that 821 is a mid range processor. It was a flagship of 2016. I wanted to share my opinion and tell everyone that after 2 years, there is no difference between a flagship processor and the new midrange chipset(The new one is indeed better). It just depends on the optimization. The flagship Is just flagship for a year. It is not the fault of Cod dev. Its of Oneplus who didn't optimise it for this type of game. But can't expect more from Oneplus as it had given 3 years of android updates. So waiting for Oneplus 8

And dude for gaming especially, the old midranger would perform much worse than the old flagship processor. It just depends when do you purchase the phone and does it have the latest processor.

if it's any consolation. cod mobile is great for like a hour. I had it and used it on the op3 and just uninstalled it. it's very repetitive on mobile I'll stick to cod on console.

Do you seriously expect OnePlus to optimise their OS for each and every game? Game Devs choose what chipsets to optimise for.

No, you misunderstood me. Like no one does buy a midranger phone just for gaming. It is just the bad luck that I purchased Oneplus 3T one month before launch of Oneplus 5

Again man, i am saying Oneplus just need to optimise overall performance of there games for previous devices. As you know this was last update for 3/3T, they could have either done it. See i am not arguing with you but just saying it would be better that way

No luck involved anyone who had the slightest interest in OnePlus knew the 5 was coming for months before it's launch.

Dude if you don't know my past, stop commenting . I wasn't a tech savy person which i am now when i bought the Oneplus 3T. it was by first smartphone. I just got to know Oneplus from my friends recommendation. And afterwards, i followed it. it doesn't make any sense from you if you say i know nothing about Oneplus. If you like the smartphone, then you follow the brand. So you can't directly say anything to anyone. Dude just chill

It may be some system cache issue...wipe cache from recovery and also install avast cleanup to clean deep hidden cache and junk...keep internal storage free space of minimum 12gb

I have got 70 gb free. And never I trust this cleanup application. They always harm your phone rather than helping it. It is just fake and doesn't work.

I too never trust any cleanup app like cleanmaster...but this avast cleanup is not like that its really useful...my storage is nearly full only 1gb is left..im unable to locate and delete the hidden files...after clean with avast cleanup my storage freespace is 25gb

Yes ofcourse it will clean some hidden cache otherwise it causes the system to drain more battery and lag
