I feel your pain. I had the same thing happen to one my invites. Shame to let it go to waste, if they didn't/couldn't use they should let you know so you can pass it on to someone who can.

Don't be so upset. Someone else who actually wants the phone will get your invite and enjoy the phone, it's his loss.

Shame. Kinda the danger of a system like this. Always good to setup a friend group that just shares invites. Then you know they dont go to waste.

I think he had the money. He stopped ordering while he was on the PayPal page.

you seemed to have a typo in your post. I believe you meant to say "what a f*cker" there you go all fixed. Among many reasons that the person could have had for not ordering the phone if he/she could not pick it up for some odd reason he should have passed it on to someone else who will buy it on the forum instead of wasting it.

doesn't depend for what reason he didn't order! I guess everybody can decide if he can afford a new phone before wasting an invite..

I feel sorry for your bad expirience

If he did not use the invite, it should have reverted to you after 24 hours.

If it did not (and I assume it didn't, since you assumed he had a phone already), then he probably sold it to someone else. I suspect you will find that many of the invites currently posted on eBay or Craigslist originate from very well meaning people like you. It is a good way for someone to make $50-75, with absolutely no financial risk.

Welcome to the world of scams.

but if someone can't afford it they shouldn't ask for the invite at the first place.
