Yes it has, OP releases uptades every 2 months, last was November so the following was supposed to be January but in January there was the chinese new year so they were on holiday, now there is also the problem of the virus and in China that causes quite a few problems.

How can it be irrelevant? Most times we seem to get last month security update when an security update comes...
Let's take an example. If you get Nov 1 the 15th December. Then it's logically time for January sometimes in February. Something else like February in the same month is a bonus. And right now they admitted to have delays caused by the virus outbreak. So most of us will get January security late February.
My comment was about the incorrect statement of getting November security level in November. As far as I know no OnePlus device got it in November. Some also do some strange math when it comes to counting the months we haven't got security updates. With the way OnePlus release them (bi-monthly) we can't just look at the security level and count from that date. Because the reality is when we got the update and not the date of the security level.
Bi-monthly according to OnePlus is not an exact date. If we get one during early December we get next one sometimes in February. Even if it's late February it's still within "bi-monthly". Even the release of stable updates has a pretty wide release schedule. 1 update per 1-2 months.

Please find the respect? I didn't mean to be rude or something if that was the way you saw it.

read the title of the thread where you are posting your comments about security and OTA update. this has nothing to do with update. there are their respective threads and feedback links.

People are posting stuff all over the place about everything... I just pointed out he had a misunderstanding about when he got the update. His point might have been to question the priorities made (feels that security updates is more important than to spend time on this function perhaps). Or simply just a random complaint in the first thread he found.
Since he wrote in all bold letters I though a correction was in place.
