you definitely don't get the point of the features of this service,. as your comment is redundant to the main point of it. is not about of how fast or slow is your phone charges or how often is about preserving your battery health and phone longevity.

What if we are able to set the desired battery level we'd want to...like setting 75% as the threshold, so that our phone would stop charging at 75 instead of getting fully charged. I think this'll help the battery life as well.

In the long run no. Not as long as we need 100% for an optimized system.

Battery health/life if far more complicated that just counting charge cycles.

If on 7T there is no link yet since open beta for 7T series has not yet been released (but should soon)

Download. Store in root folder. (make sure it's named .zip and nothing else or it will not show)
Go into settings and system update and open local upgrade behind that cog symbol in upper right corner. If that is not available you may have a carrier locked phone and those can't use local upgrades.
Regretting it and go back to stable most often wipes the phone. So I would recommend more reasons to use beta than only that charge function.
I use beta channel due to liking to beta test stuff.

    Asking for how to root?
Maybe that should be asked in the main thread for your device and not here since here.
If when I used the words "root folder" made you think about rooting the device... That is just a different word for local storage (when you can't go further up in file system directories).

Getting open beta and possible gain access to this battery charging feature does not need root.
