Wondering if releasing OB 28/20 was just a publicity stand, actually next OB shoulda dropped by know, wasn't the cycle something about each 2 weeks ob update and once a month a stable? - had some nightmare about my OnePlus 2 days lately, hope it doesn't correlate with truth - just a reminder to the OP team the 3(t) devices are still "too big to fail", if ya getting my line of thought...

Since I have updated my OnePlus 3T to Android Oreo, there has been many noticeable problems with the software.
Before the update my phone was working just fine but after the update there has been a lot of lags on my phone and my phone has gotten slower.
Many bugs can be noticed in the Oreo update.
So, I would like to know that when are you guys planning to fix this issues?

If the rumours regarding the S9 turn out to be correct (just a better SoC) then the change from the 5 to the 5T (Infinity screen, FP moved from the front, Face Unlock) will be far bigger than the move from the S8 to the S9, so hardly just a refresh like the 3 to the 3T was last year. I'd buy a 5T as it seems a big improvement over my 3 if OP would guarantee 2 years OS support but as they won't then I may as well wait for the 6, or something from Nokia etc next May/June.

Just asking how does that relates to my post ?

And yes waiting for the 6 would be a wiser choice.
(Let's see if they offer 3 years of complete and competent support like the pixel 2 lineup)

    Topper_Gas, Dec 22, 2017 :
You suggested the 5T is just a refresh of the 5, however, it seems more than just refresh, in fact if it had a new SoC it would be a virtually brand new phone, with anew design/screen, camera, and FP placement, to think it would only have around a years full OS support/one OS upgrade if I bought it now is a shocker.

    VaibhavBhargava, Dec 22, 2017 :
And how did the SoC changed when compared to the 5 ?

    Topper_Gas, Dec 22, 2017 :
But that still doesn't explain why the 5T will only get 18 months max OS updates, it's just a costs saving move by OP.

    VaibhavBhargava, Dec 23, 2017 :
The same can be argued for why OP5 will not get 2.5 years of software support instead of 2 years, because of OP5T (with exact same specs) is getting 2 full years of support with ease then OP5 should also receive the same treatment.

This is precisely, one should avoid T series, unless they change their policy of either updating or launching the devices.

There seems to be a widespread network issue for oneplus 3 after oreo update. Network goes down very frequently and only a reboot fixes this issue. Did oneplus made any official statement regarding this issue? And is there any workaround for this issue. This is a major issue and oneplus should have fixed it by now or atleast made some statement regarding this.
