Just to be sure we are on the same page, quote from one of your links:
"For the purposes of a clean and friendly community, we have created a specific space where these users to express their feelings."
He was not offensive or harassing anyone, just asked a question (granted OP covered themselves with "we do not provide ETA", but if they don't know, who does?).

To be fair, @Auristic was not offensive either. Here just provided links to the most clear information that anyone has at this point in time 🤷‍♂️

    You are right.
@Auristic - wasn't my intention to be offensive. Apologies if it sounded like I was

Even the Oneplus 6 got January's security patch, while the OnePlus 8 is still at November's... which is a 3 months old security patch, although Oneplus promised bimonthly security updates

What do we get for oneplus breaching it promise for global user.
We don't even get an update on the status or an apology.
We understand that it's not a formal SLA for the updates but breaching it surely depleted confidence of the brand statement/marketing.

As a oneplus8 pro user, we think you should stop false advertisement about bi monthly updates from now on as it wasn't released.
You ask us to never settle but now you're asking us to settle , I guess things have changed.

I've been pretty disappointed with OnePlus. I'm a first time user on the op8 pro. The phone is nice enough, but the lack of timely security updates, and the way Verizon screws with the IN2025 version, has left a bad taste in my mouth. Can't hold OnePlus responsible for verizon's bs, but really expected a security update by the end of January! Still on November security patch. I bought the galaxy s20 max for my wife, and she's been very happy with it. One and done for me I'm afraid.

The situation for OnePlus 7 series customers are very bad. You'll understand this when OnePlus 9 series is released!

Pretty much disappointed😞, there are already images of Android 12 came out, and still OnePlus is not pushing 7 series to Oxygen os 11 stable version, eagerly waiting for OOS 11!

The 8 pro got 11 but super buggy and late security update for global user.

Camera - photochrom disabled , no camera enhancement
Screen: tint while scrolling on chrome, etc.
Screen orientation : youtube issue , just got fix in Feb update
Wifi/mobile : suddenly pop up that no network connection
Late security patch: unable to use company portal for a month
Bluetooth : a bit laggy but acceptable
Battery : finish in 5 hrs , same screen usage time with my 3 years old 5 T
Performance: My 5T open some app a bit faster

10 was more stable compare to 11 for 8 pro just saying

This is how OnePlus OOS development works-
Stable OOS (1st six months of device launch)
Beta grade updates (post 1st year)
Alpha grade/most unstable updates (post 2nd year)

Will the IN2025 ever get security update beyond November? Last stable build I have access to is OxygenOS I'm really not interested in having to run beta builds to get security updates.

Currently I'm on Oxygen OS 11 beta program in my Nord and I would like to know whether will I get OTA update for stable version or do I need to do manual update. Could anyone help me with this doubt ?

If you have open beta installed in your phone then you will get open beta update (ota) not the stable version. You have to manually install the stable version if you wish to get stable ota updates.
