When I unlocked my phone, I saw an ad (refer the screenshot) on my home screen. Has anyone else started seeing ads?? It really freaked me out. Don't go the Xiaomi way OnePlus. [e]1f64f[/e] I will be forced to discontinue using your devices.

Found the app. It was the Airtel app.
I had disabled to allow display over other apps. But still ads were popping.

I got the link of the ad - https://app.appsflyer.com/com.myairtelapp?advertising_id (didn't paste the full link)

    This link mentions myairtelapp.
The ads were regarding airtel recharges and zee5.
They are giving zee5 subscriptions on recharges. Hence zee5 ads.

I have unistalled the app. Now no ads are popping up.

    what launcher are you using?

it has something to do with an app, you have recently installed.

I don't use any third party launcher. It's OnePlus launcher.

The point I was trying to make was, it will be one of the last apps that he either installed or updated. If he uninstalls any new apps one by one he will find the culprit. Most times either a game or device optimising app.

    wasn't intending to interfere [e]1f44d[/e]
