[Solved] Issues with Warranty Claim

    From 16th Jan my TV is not working. its not powering ON, LED stays ON and after pressing oneplus key on remote, it doesnot boots, stays like that only, i raised compalint on amazon home service, there it mentioned to claim of warrenty and repair service, with price zero, But i recieved call from oneplus team and told me that warrenty is over.
    Actually I bought TV on October 2019, during that time, i still remember that as lauch offer they provided 2 years warrenty, the main reason i took was it provided 2 years warrenty.
    I called amazon and they also are telling its only one year warrenty, i have attached screenshot pls check that, amazon as clearly mentioned that television warrenty claim will occour, today recieved msg as Service is on Hold as Out of scope repair: need customer Approval..
    Pls advice me want can be done. on bill and invoice its not mentioned any warrenty period,
    i checked amazon home service Q&A, it clearly mentioned no documentaions required the warrenty process is all automated, if my warrenty is over it should come as paid service request, but i am getting free warrenty claim from my orders, i am fed up with amazon customer care persons, always repeating urs warrenty is over we cant help and contact oneplus for service, oneplus telling ur warrenty over, really i am regreeting the decision to go with oneplus and amazon service, they dont know any basic knowledge that if automated service is showing warrenty how can they deny me the warrenty, they should mention on invoice atleast warrenty period.
    I am asking friends, did u remember in October they provided 2 yrs warrenty on their TV. during 1st few months of launch.
    such an pathetic service from both parties, wasted my money on this cheap product, it cant run through 2 yrs, i know i cant convince them in this regard, its better for me to go to any other brands in future.

    Hey,
    It's really unfortunate that the extended warranty offer provided is so mis-organized that the user has to prove it. It should have been automatically registered/assigned to the purchased S.Nos during the offer period by Amazon/Oneplus whoever was responsible for that offer, to avoid this scenario.
    Anyway, check the below link...I think you will be getting the required proofs/screenshots for the extended warranty (2yrs) as advertized by both Amazon and Oneplus during that time.

    Meanwhile, do share your Service ID, I will try to escalate your case to the team. Hope your issue get's resolved without having to shell out the money.

    I had scheduled warrenty claim from amazon orders. Didn't did that frm oneplus.
    So don't have service ID from oneplus. I have attached screenshot regarding it, which as amazon info.
    Where to get service ID can u help me out.

    Still no response from oneplus team. Such a irresponsible company.
    No technician visit, no calls.
    Really regreting my decision. It's better to go with reputed brand even if it's bit costlier.

    Because I m living in Davanagere city 250kms from Bangalore. But in service it says registered at QDIGI Bangalore.
    Hoping some calls me on mobile and clarifies

    Ok 2 weeks over and no assurance of service.
    Here are updates I have got.
    1) My service on oneplus care aap is stuck at service registered from Jan 21.
    2) Amazon have cancelled my warrenty claim without technician visit.
    3) 4 days back I Recieved calls from 2 different persons and they asked me to share screenshots of serial number and bill copies, I shared copies with both of them, they both said we have sent them to oneplus and we will update soon after recieving updates.
    But no updates still now from them. I have not called them, if I call them they wil surely tell no warrenty.

    Friends I am fed off with this pathetic and irresponsible service from Oneplus team, they cannot accept their own claims and they are lieing and cheating people and we cannot do anything about the wrong cliams.
    Friends can any one guide me how can I move on and take further steps.

    On 30th Jan I recieved call from Oneplus, they assured me of sending technician on 1st Feb, but its already 1st Feb night, and i didnt rrecieved any call from anyone, i am sure now, one plus is worst at customer support, atleast for TV section, wasted my money thinking of brand, wil never purchase any oneplus product in future no matter wat feature they provide, the oneplus as an attitude of Sell & Forget..

    Ok this is the update. Service initiated on 2nd Feb. And still no technician visit.
    Really this is great service from oneplus.
    Almost nearing one month and at home we are without tv and entertainment.
    For this type of service I paid 60k for an tv.
    This is rubbish from oneplus. So much dissapointed and hatred towards oneplus.
    Can't we do anything about it apart from waiting.

Without any visits they decided it's PCB problem, it's ok if they save time of visiting and checking, if they are able to diagnose the problem by looking at video I sent them. But how many days it wil become don't know.

    Here are my Updates: No signs of intent of repairing TV from Oneplus.

    On 6th Feb the upadate was 3rd step Service And payment,
    and now on 11the feb it as gone to 1st step has Again Service initiated, but this time its new technician,

    Presently using my 8 year old LCD 32' TV, Which never gave me any problem till now, it was lying in corner from 1 year, still TV running Fine.

    I have no other option just to wait and wait and wait.

    I just wonder if oneplus dare to do this type of service for their mobiles, they provide great service to their mobile users, with TV users they are treating seperately.
    they lauched the TV hurriedly and we users who are on service requirement suffering.

    Really worried about how OnePlus will move forward and launch new TV models with such a kind of service. I shall request again to look into it, but as the team must be in still vacation due to the Chinese new year, might take a couple of days.
