    Z1605049156506 , via OnePlus Nord , Oct 20, 2021 :
It has been almost a week since the following apps have started working ONLY with WiFi :

    Google PlayStore
    YouTube
    Google Photos
Google (the swipe left news feed)

If I use mobile data (my tariff includes unlimited data) I get the same message "No internet connection. Make sure that wifi or mobile data is turned on, then try again".

I tried uninstalling the updates, switching aeroplane mode on and off, clearing cache and data, logging out from my Google account, even a hard reset but the issue is still here.
And it only happens on my OnePlus Nord.

    Anyone else? Thanks.

Hey, thank you for your reply!

I gave this a try and made sure all the apps with the issue can use background data and have access to unrestricted data usage.

The problem persists and I still get the same error message :

You can try this. Go to app manager and find app called "Google play services". Tap storage and clear the storage and the cache. That might help.

If this doesn't help I have to raise my hands with this. I don't any other ideas on this. I really hope someone else can help you and your problem will get solved

I have exactly the same issue and I'm on OS11 (11.1.6)

Google apps (play store, google search widget, etc.) just work on wifi. And I fear that's also the reason why the Netflix app has started acting up lately (refusing to pay downloaded videos while on airplane mode).

I am on Oxygen OS 11.1.5.5AC01DA.

I tried all the suggested actions and I report that nothing works.

    Possible solutions :

    - turning aeroplane mode on, wait like 2/3 minutes and switch aeroplane mode off temporarily solve the issue, but if I leave the phone inactive for a while then it's back to square one

    - uninstalling the latest updates for all the apps affected, if I install the updates the problem immediately comes back

Give these a try and let me know!

    This is from technical support
    Didn't work for me

Google's technical support has said that I have to wait for Oneplus to update the SO oxygen compatibility.
And OnePlus technical support at said that I have to ask Google's technical support.

That sounds really strange. I am using mobile data only and I don't have any issues with any Google app
