Something is really WRONG with OnePlus 6T.

I don't know if it's a general problem that maybe others are facing or is it only with my device, that I am going to describe.
My OnePlus 6T 8 GB Thunder purple is having some serious issues. At times the device stops responding to certain things untill I do a reboot. For instance, I am unable to place calls and then I've to reboot which actually fix the problem.

I feel like the OS is buggy. small things like notification toggle not working, search bar not responding, new tab button on Google Chrome not working and other stuff like that, until I restart the device.

The OnePlus stock live wallpaper animation stops working until I reselect it and Appy again and this is a recurring problem.
I am currently on OxygenOs version 9.0.11. I believe that someone out there may be facing the same issues. if so, please tell.
Having said that, these are mostly minor things apart from the calling issue ,but they're really bothering me. Please share any solution.

    Thankyou for reading.

Well I really hope it's not defective and can be fixed by software tuning. Although, can't say for sure right now. Thanks for the feedback. Appreciate it.

Send it to OnePlus service centre. Might be a defective product

Since everything you said is software related, I suggest wiping the cache partition (which is fast and you don't lose any information).
Normally these issues are caused by a dirty cache.
After that, if the issue persists then a factory reset. If that didn't work, then the unit is defective.

Thankyou for your suggestion. You're saying that by wiping cache partition I won't lose any of my data . Are you sure on that?

Since you have already updated to 9.0.11 you really might have buggy software issues. Unless you have already tried to reset the phone you should try contacting them about it. In many cases they would replace the phone .

I would definitely try wiping the cache, If that doesn't help then send in for service. Generally Wiping the cache will fix most software issues.

There are definitely bugs with the software,I've experienced a fair few random freezes myself, but you seem to be experiencing everything I've read,

People have also been complaining of lag as well,

I personally would do a hard reset if I were you, just backup everything beforehand,

backup your data and do a full wipe
you wont but i doubt just clearing the cache will help you because of the extent of the issues you are facing

let's hope that you won't face any of the issues. They often come across and they're very annoying.

I have had the same issues. I have had my 6t replaced twice and my phone app is still failing.
it's not my service provider or the physical phone. it's the software. it's my hopes One Plus will allow the new oxygen os release to T Mobile so I can get the newest updates to my oxygen os. this looks like it will fix the problem.
